Sibu Sea Berry Therapy
Recently, across my social media channels, I have seen a flood of reviews and recommendations for cruelty free makeup and skincare brands. I definitely support vegan and cruelty free beauty and skincare products – so many products out there contain animal byproducts or have been tested on animals, and it is often swept under the carpet that many people don’t even realize this! Even if a brand says they don’t test on animals, they may be owned by parent company who does.
Today, I’d like to feature a brand called Sibu. Sibu is an ethically conscious, vegan, and cruelty free brand that sources its ingredients through fair trade practices! It’s a great thing to look into if you’d like to transition to a more cruelty free regime. They currently carry a line of products with Sea Buckthorn extracts.
I have never heard of Sea Buckthorn before, but according to their website, it contains many beneficial properties.
For healthy and beautiful hair, skin and nails

With over 190 bioactive compounds, sea buckthorn is an unsurpassed source of Omegas 3, 6, and 9. And it’s a rich source of the elusive essential fatty acid, Omega-7, a fatty acid vital to collagen production and healthy skin, hair and nails.Sea buckthorn is a natural product with 1300 years of traditional uses with the modern scientific research to back it up. Our superior processing techniques and our premium and exclusive source of sea buckthorn allow us to create a revolutionary group of beauty products.
Sibu Sea Berry Therapy Nourishing Face Cream
Texture: A light but rich face cream incased in a frosted glass bottle with a pump.
Scent: It has a light citrus scent to it… Think standard soft lotion smell with a hint of orange.
Application: The cream is dispensed from a plastic pump. It feels light on the skin, yet noticeably hydrating. It does not feel oily upon application, and it absorbs into the skin fairly quickly.
Sibu Sea Berry Seed Oil
Scent: A light citrus scent.
Application: The oil is housed in a brown glass bottle and is dispensed through a dropper! 2-3 drops is more than enough for the entire face. It initially comes out as a bright orange liquid, but quickly absorbs into the skin. It does leave behind a thin oil residue, but that’s to be expected.
