A Day On Center Island | Toronto Travel Guide

Hello lovelies!

Two weeks ago, I went to Centre Island with my parents! It’s an island that’s located right offshore from downtown Toronto. It is full of attractions – Centreville (small amusement park, mainly for small kids), restaurants, parks and beaches.

In order to get there, you need to take a ferry from the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal (9 Queen’s Quay West)! If you’re walking from Union Station, just walk south along Bay Street to Queens Quay and you’ll see it.

I was really happy because I’ve been working full time since I got back from SDCC and haven’t really had a chance to go out on the weekend. The weather was beautiful which was great considering we’ve had a really crap summer so far, mostly cloudy days and rain.

Niagara Falls trip

Hello everyone!
I found this photo set while cleaning out my computer… I think this was back in May… My parents decided that we were going to do a spontaneous Niagara Falls trip! Toronto is about a 2-2.5 hour drive  to Niagara Falls. We’ve been down there so many times (at least once a year for as long as I can remember), so we’ve already seen most of the touristy events. It was kinda just like a little get away from the big city. 😀

We mainly stay on the Canadian side, so we don’t have to worry about passports or anything.

This street is called Clifton Hill. It’s basically where most of the big touristy attractions are – haunted houses, fun houses, wax museums, ferris wheel etc.
Giant Frankenstein Burger King 😀

The Great Canadian Midway is a giant arcade with lots of games… Kinda like Playdium!

Falls at night! So pretty~
One of the prettiest things to see at night are the falls… They shine different colored lights on them! These are the horseshoe falls (the smaller waterfalls located on the American side.) During the summer, there are always different light shows on the falls and fireworks! Very pretty.

I love the falls, but I kinda wish we’d go somewhere new. Too bad that you have to drive for hours to get anywhere in Canada. ;_;

Christmas Eve!

Hallo darlings!

Every year, my parents and I go downtown Toronto to eat at Marché (previously named Richtree). This year was a bit different because I was working on Christmas Eve.  My boss was nice enough to let me off early because she knew something was different about me! I normally wear very minimal makeup at work so when I actually made the effort to look nice, everybody noticed hahaha 😀

We took the subway to King station (one stop from Union.)

This is the entrance/outer patio area. It was all lit up, and the decorations were so lovely! Of course, it was quite busy because it was Christmas Eve and everyone was out for their Christmas dinner~

BUTTERFREE CONSERVATORY

Hello darlings! Hope everybody (who celebrated it) had a wonderful Canada day / 4th of July! This year my parents and I stayed overnight at the Hilton Hotel in Niagara on the lake.
We’ve been to the falls so many times so we didn’t really do too many of the touristy things. We walked down to the falls and ate frozen chocobanana! It was delicious.

Before we returned home, we stopped off at the butterfly conservatory. For those of you who haven’t visited this place before, I highly recommend going! The butterfly conservatory is basically a big room with tropical foliage and temperature, filled with butterflies! You can walk in and take photos. Butterflies might even land on you! (They also have a habit of flying into you/your face, wahaha.)

Of course I took this opportunity to take some photos with my dslr! Butterflies love the attention so they were great models for my photos.

Some people were afraid inside. Unlike other bugs, butterflies are completely harmless. Some kids were freaking out because they might look a bit scary up close, but if they land on you its usually because they want to lick the salt off your skin.

This one was really pretty but unlike the other butterflies, it had a really long body… I’ve got a phobia of dragonflies (HATE THEMMM UGHGDFJKGHDFGK) and this one kinda reminded me of one so I made sure to keep a very big distance between them lol.

Sorry for such the delay in posts! My domain is about to expire so I need to figure out how to extend it….?
I think I’ll keep cherrim.net as my domain, so don’t worry about a URL change!

Seeya later!

Happy CNY + Food Spam

Happy Chinese New Year! Hope the year of the Dragon is kind to you!
Best wishes for good health, happiness, and lots of money! 😀

Here’s some foodspam! I’ll have some actual posts up when I’m less busy âœ§*。ヾ(。>﹏<。)ノ゙✧*。

Saturday dinner – hotpot!

Kitty on the banister (♡˙︶˙♡)

Chinese New Year dinner!

New Year Dinner

On new years day, my uncle had his wedding reception at a Chinese restaurant that we go to quite frequently. I’ll spare you a long blog post and just get straight to the food porn! 😉

I think there were 13 dishes in total lol, there was a looottt of food.
It all tasted amazing though, I love eating at that place!

Christmas + Gets + DSLR

Hey guys and gals!

I promised that I’d update about how I spent Christmas, so here I go!

My parents woke me up at 8AM, which is really funny because unlike 6-year old Sachie who woke up at 5AM, I probably would’ve slept until about 4 in the afternoon!  Anyway, my mom + dad + I all unwrapped our presents  and spent time together, it was quite nice. My parents both liked my presents for them!

I got my mom some bath salts from Bath and Body Works’ Aromatherapy line (‘Sleep’ and ‘Stress Relief’). I gifted my dad a…uh…jam set? It sounds weird I know, but it was basically Apple Chutney + English mustard stuff + Black Pepper Oatcakes….British food? It was a set from Crabtree &Evelyn and my dad really liked it. 😀

My parents gave me mostly winter clothing, chocolate(Kinder Surprise!) and Lush stuff! OH AND SOCKS! (I love socks lol!) There was also a little bit of spending money!

We spent most of the day lazing around home because basically everything was closed. I was feeling really drained for some reason so I ended up napping, catching up to the newest episodes of The Office and finishing off the first season of Game of Thrones. Oh my god it is the best series ever, I am so excited for the second season ahh ahh ahhhh!

My Christmas was pretty quiet this year, but it was nice. How did you spend your Christmas (if you celebrate it?) Or the winter holidays so far?

—————-

Went to Pacific Mall the other day. Pacific Mall is this really big Asian mall that sells lots of Korean/Japanese style clothing (super expensive), Japanese cellphones… Lots of things from Asia! Picked up the January 2012 issue of Popteen featuring the KPOP group ‘KARA’ on the front and back!

Also bought these fingerless glove/hand warmer things… They’re so cute! And so warm!

Picked up Rohto’s Lycee eyedrops! I’ve seen lots of good reviews so I decided to buy a little container for myself.

The sensation after putting the drops in feels different from normal eyedrops. Lycee drops make your eyes feel…minty? Tingly? It’s not an unpleasant feeling, I wasn’t really expecting it at first! My eyes got a bit watery after putting the drops in, but that stopped after a few seconds.

Went to Ardene yesterday and picked up a new wallet since my old one was falling apart… Actually two, since it was 2 for $15~!

Fiiiiinally, I got a DSLR! The Canon Rebel T3i to be exact! I’m so so so happy! It arrived today in the mail since I ordered it online. I didn’t think I was going to get one but some little miracles happened and now I am an owner of a DSLR! *tears of happiness*

(I’ll also be making a new flickr/deviantart, which I will link in future posts.)

So please look forward to some more photoblogs, as well as photoshoots with MOETRONcos  I’m still learning how to use it and fiddling around with the different settings, so I’ll be starting the A-Z photo challenge on this blog!  More to come later!

I’ll leave you with a little interview that CosplayInvasion.com did with us at DTAC~

Happy New Year everyone! <3

Christmas Eve

Merry Christmas everyone!
I hope everybody had a wonderful Christmas! ãƒ¾(。・ω・。) Here’s how I spent mine!
Christmas Eve-
My family has this tradition for the past few years were we go to Richtree in Christmas Eve for Toronto! The Richtree that we always go to is located downtown Toronto.
Before going to Richtree we stopped by Eatons Centre which is a huge mall! Each year at The Bay across from Eatons, there are pretty front displays! ãƒ¾(・ω・o)

Pretty picture taken on my camera lol!
They also had some pretty outfits in the window displays!

I love the gold dress here sosososo much! I really love metallic clothing/accessories… Like gold/silver/bronze shoes, dresses, hats, accessories! â™¥ï¼ˆï¾‰Â´âˆ€`)

Love this jacket, it reminds me of Remi Altava’s (from Professor Layton) yellow trenchcoat!

Anyway after that, we headed to Richtree!
Richtree is basically an open kitchens restaurant. You’re given little card type things when you enter! Basically the restaurant has little kitchens serving different types of food – they have areas for sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, seafood, roasted meats, soups/salads/juice bar etc! So you go to each area and choose something from that menu to eat! They make it in front of you and then take/swipe your card.
Took pics in the washroom~

I actually wanted to wear circle lenses that night but my eyes were red and irritated so I couldn’t… I tried to do my makeup with more warmer brown colours to make my eyes pop more though! Although it doesn’t really show. ï¾(;´Д`ヘ)

Sweater: borrowed from my mom; white cat shirt from h&m; bag from forever21. *attempt to sound like a fashion blog*  ï¼ˆï¾‰Â´Ð´ï½€ï¼‰

Now, this is what I had to eat!

Penne pasta with veggies and meat sauce! The plate was quite big, I’m glad I skipped out on appetizers or else I wouldn’t have been able to finish it! Omg the food was so good! ã€œ(^∇^〜)Seriously, love eating here! I love taking food pics lol, if only I had a dslr these would’ve been so much nicer! Too bad I don’t have that big of a stomach or else I would’ve ordered loads more.

I always buy the coca-cola in the glass bottles… I don’t know why but I like the glass bottles more, it seems…classier? I feel much cooler with a glass bottle wahaha. #sachiereasoning. Also, Christmassy nails! ãƒ¾(゚∀゚ゞ)

After the food we always have crepe!

This one had ice cream and strawberries, blueberries, chocolate sauce and vanilla icecream! It’s so good! Even if I’m stuffed and can’t eat anymore, it’s like I have a separate stomach for dessert!

Blood orange juice!

This was the building that Marche was in! The lights were gorgeous!

Pretty tentacle decorations.
After eating we headed towards Nathan Philips square!

There was a giant glowing signboard that provided some good lighting haha, people were looking at me strangely while I was taking pictures. I’m so purple!! ãƒ¾(*д*)ノ゛
It actually looks like I have short hair in these pictures but I don’t lol, my hair is all tucked under my scarf.

We walked by Nathan Philip square! Loads of people ice skating! I’m not very good at ice skating, and it’s also cold… (。・_・。 ) Although, ironically enough, we haven’t gotten any snow here! It’s been like this for the past few years, the snow usually starts in January and can last until late March! Stupid global warming.

So that was my Christmas Eve! I’ll blog about Christmas Day soon, so please look forward to that!  It wasn’t very eventful though lol.

Also, if you’re interested in figures/nendroids, check out my Akiyama Mio (K-On!) nendroid giveaway! It ends on the 31 of December.

Aaaand finally, I shall link this random picture of me planking in the subway station. Aw yeh first time planking. â˜†-(ノ゚Д゚)八(゚Д゚ )ノ

Ottawa (Day 5) + Cosplay Progress!

Hey guys! Sorry for not updating in a while. It’s been really hot here and I’ve lost all motivation haha! orz

Anyway, I’ll be continuing my report on my Ottawa trip! This post will be about Canada Day (July 1)

The main reason of why we drove up to Montreal/Quebec was to catch a glimpse of the royals!  The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Princess Kate) made their first official trip as a newlywed couple to Canada! Which was super exciting since my family is a fan of the royals! Naturally, we had to go see them!

Woke up at 8AM, left for Parliament Hill at 9AM. There were already so many people! They had fenced off this one area which my mom and I jumped over LOL, NO FENCE IS GOING TO KEEP ME AWAY FROM ROYALS.   Dad said he’d stay behind because he couldn’t jump the fence/too old or something. So my mom and I went ahead. She was bitching about how I took too long to get ready and how we didn’t have a good seat BLAH BLAH BLAH.

So many people!

View inbetween the butts of people standing up against the fence…

Then I came up with the amazing idea to climb up on one of the posts near the fence! If you can see the girl in the white/red shirt on the right side of the picture, behind the girl in the blue – she was also sitting on a post. I was sitting on the one to the left of her

My mom and her asian sun-umbrella LOL

Black cars arriving before the royals!

Also that day happened to be SUPER SUNNY. Coincidently, my mom decided to throw out our sunscreen because she said it had expired wtf.

I didn’t get any photos because I was taking video, but basically Will + Kate rode up in a white carriage! They came in on the road right in front of me AHH I had such a good view and was so excited to actually be able to see them in person! It was super exciting! All you can hear in the video is be going “OH GOD OH GOD ITS WILL AND KATE AHH THIS IS SO EXCITING”.   I’ll post it when I upload it haha!

After that my mom and I went back to the hotel. My dad also got photos because he went in the information centre across from Parliament hill that was airconditioned and had big glass windows… So jealous that he didn’t have to wait out in the sun and burn like I did! But he didn’t get to see them up close ohoho~

Went back after dinner for the fireworks show.

The fireworks show was beautiful!  Only lasted 15 minutes.

And that ends my report on Ottawa/Montreal! Hope you enjoyed it!

Also, I have some progress pictures for my Meiko cosplay! On the Friday of Fan Expo this year, I’ll be cosplaying Meiko (Vocaloid) from the song “Synchronicity”! I decided to do an armored cosplay after seeing the Lightning from Acksonl’s Anime Expo video! The armor looks so cool omg.  I was planning to cosplay Erza from Fairy Tail but it looked kind of hard, so I figured I’d start with something easier.

It’ll be my first time making armor so I hope it’ll turn out alright.

Here’s what Synchronicity Meiko looks like –
Meiko.jpg

I think I did a pretty good job on the upper thigh armor so far, I’m just really scared of making the chest plate because I don’t want to mess up! It’s all made of craft foam using this tutorial.

I’m scared for the chest plate orz haha…. WISH ME LUCK! I’ll post progress pics here later!

Ottawa (Day 4) – HAPPY CANADA DAY!

First thing’s first…
HAPPY CANADA DAY, FELLOW CANADIANS! 😀

I’m so lucky that I get to spend it in Ottawa, the capital of Canada! I’m actually writing this post on the 30th of June…IN THE PAST~!~! Scheduled this post because I’ll probably be dead tired tomorrow…er…I mean today…

Anyway, I’ll be writing about the 30th of June. Left Montreal in the morning. Before I left, downloaded the app that my friend recommended to me called “Pudding Cam”! Just search for it in the App store! It’s a Korean camera app with tons of cool features, and best of all it’s free!

Also just a heads up – this post is quite image heavy!

Are you manly enough to take on the TRIPLE BYPASS?
Entering Ontario, yay!
Arrived at our hotel which was a suite! Our room is apartment style, therefore we had a washroom, one bedroom, a living room, and a mini kitchen. Quite nice I must say! I have a feeling my residence will be like this next year only with a much smaller room x 4.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are in Canada for their first official overseas trip as a married couple! Here’s their itinerary in Ottawa.
More pics under the cut!

Haha saw this poster in a supermarket and thought it was funny. Harper is our Prime Minister!
Testing out Pudding Cam’s 4 motion photo effect with my sock haha I get bored way too easily. I’ve seen Jenny use this app before and never really knew which one she was using! I think it’s cool!

S-so fluffy!

This note was outside the tomb of the unknown soldier area on a wreath! Prince William wrote ‘Lest We Forget / N’oublier Jamais’ on it.

Went to the parliament building.

This is the area where they do all of their debates and stuff.
(I don’t know the technical names since I’m not really interested in politics/government stuff haha)

The public can come sit above and watch!

The library was massive!

Portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and her father.

Went up into the Peace Tower.

Where the big concert will be happening. It’s expected to be filled with more than 300,000 people!

(I ended up testing some of the camera effects here, I think they turned out nice! Too bad the 3GS ‘s camera sucks, I’m sure the pictures would look way better on the iPhone 4!)

And then we headed back to our hotel!

Hope you liked this post! And hope you Canadians are having a great Canada day!
(Unless you’re a traitor like Lia and are spending it at ANIME EXPO / forever jelly ;_;/)

Montreal (Day 3) + Course Selection

Alright, last update for my Montreal posts! It’s hard to believe that I only spent three days there! We left Montreal this morning…
Before I start, I’ll say that the hotel we stayed at called  “Le Nouvel”, wasn’t really that great at all. It always felt really…damp… in the room! Even with the A/C and fan on, it felt really uncomfortable. And the room smelled really weird. It wasn’t really that great. ):

Wednesday was really cold… I think the temperature was a high of 21*C, but it felt cooler because it was cold and windy! Seriously, the Canadian summer so far has been utter crap. It was hot during exam time, and the not really cold and didn’t feel summery at all…

Flowery top and white ribbon belt from Just Cawaii (in Pacific Mall), knee length jean shorts (Urban Behaviour).
My bangs/fringe are at a good length that they’re not too long, yet long enough to braid and pin to the side!

Walked from our hotel to ‘Old Montreal’!

Apparently this was the hotel where John Lennon and Yoko Ono had their “bed in”! Where they stayed in bed or something to protest wars and promote peace. Read more about it here!
More pics under the cut!
We went into a clothing store because my mom wanted to look at something… therefore full outfit snap! It was kind eh… I wish I had brought long jeans but I thought it was going to be warmer.
Lots of horse carriages out for tourists who want to ride around Old Montreal!
One of the side streets that was closed off to cars. There were lots of souvenir shops and little restaurants.
Lunch at some little food court area: salad/turkey sandwich, beer (idk why but when in Montreal, my mom constantly wanted to drink beer) and poutine! (Basically fries covered in gravy and cheese.) Was not manly enough to take on the poutine, every time I tried taking a fry, I imagine myself having a heart attack LOL orz.
I was a sissy and took on the sandwich instead of the poutine ;A;
Walked down the street a few times and saw this. What exactly does this mean? Somebody on twitter said it was a siamese fire hydrant connection thing… I thought it was actually a pair of cherries haha! Derp!
Went back to the hotel because it was getting very cold and windy. Parents took a nap and I watched Big Bang Theory on my iPhone. My mom wanted me to rest because I had to do course selection for university which opened at 12:01 AM this morning…….orz
Later we went to eat dinner! Walked on Saint Catherine and ended up trying out a Turkish place.
The decor was actually quite nice- benches covered in a nice fabric with Turkish rugs on the walls.
Lentil soup, it was really good!
Sautéed chicken with salad and rice.
This blog kind of sounds like it’s turning into a food blog haha! I don’t know why but I always remember taking pictures of food but forget to take pics of other important things.
Using the app “Shake” – kinda mimics a Polariod camera!
Across the street from the Turkish restaurant, there was a store that sold asian goods! Cosmetics like Etude House, Skin79, The Face Shop, and Tony Moly products. Ended up buying some BB cream since I’m running out of my Skin79 Oriental Gold… I’ll make sure to do a review on it! Also bought a cute Hello Kitty iPhone case.
(Mom bought me McD’s ice coffee and hipster glasses from Forever 21 hehehe!)
Walked back along Saint Catherine and turned down some side street.
After that we walked back to the hotel. Also ended up having an argument with Guy LOL because my parents wouldn’t let me meet up with him and he was being whiny 😉 I got a bit annoyed but whatever.
Had to stay up until 2AM trying to register my classes for next year! It was hell – registration opened at 12:01AM but when I clicked, it said “the maximum number of students is using this service, please try again later.” FRUSTRATED ME SO MUCH! Anyway I ended up registering my classes at around 2AM.
The courses I decided to take were:
Communication studies (which is what I want to major in), 2 multimedia classes, 2 linguistics classes, French, English/Cultural Studies, and 2 history classes!
Hopefully they turn out to be fun classes! I have to log on again in August to pick when I want to take my classes…. ideally I don’t want any classes early in the morning or on Fridays!
The feeling of growing up never really dawned upon me until I registered my university courses and saw my payment agreement! I was like, wow, things aren’t really going to get much easier and I’m going to be in debt for the next few years of my life….. It’s scary but at the same time I’m really looking forward to moving out and getting to know myself better. 😀
So that’s it for Montreal! Super sad to be leaving since it’s such a fun town! Definitely prettier than Toronto haha, since it’s got a more European atmosphere I guess? Super jelly of all the people here who are bilingual, which motivates me more to learn French! I want to be cool and bilingual like them! So if you know French please speak to me haha so I can practice talking. 😀
Hopefully I’ll be able to blog with emoji soon, can’t really put them in my blog posts because they make my hotel wifi lag like crazy! ;___;

Montreal (Day 1)

Sup dudes?! I’m currently in my hotel in Montreal, Quebec! Course selection goes up tonight at midnight and I really want to get into all of my classes so I’m staying up hehe! (It’s currently 10:10PM)

Now that my laptop has finally connected to the internet, I figured I’ll just blog to kill the time! Mom bought me two large ice coffees from McDonalds (any size for $1! = my new summer drink, replacing Timmie’s expensive ice capps.)

ANYWAY, our adventure started on Monday. Woke up at 6AM and drove for 9 hours (it would normally take about 6 to drive from Toronto to Montreal but my dad drives slow and we stopped off in a place called Ganaoque for two hours).

Giant apple thing haha 😀
Gananoque (pronounced like Gana-Nock-Qwee) is surrounded by the thousand islands? Pretty cool, the view was nice at least.

Gananoque is a small down which basically consists of a street filled with old white people. The cafe place we stopped off at seriously smelled like prunes and there were old people EVERYWHERE…. Not that I have anything against old people but I’m too much of a city girl and therefore really dislike small hick towns.

My dad contributes to the old white person factor in the cafe haha!
Arrived at our hotel at about 3PMish.
Camwhored before we left to go exploring! Using the app “Diptic” to combine pics.
After that we walked down to my dad’s old apartment from when he used to live there.

Then we turned down Rue Saint Catherine (I think that’s what it’s called) where all the shops are and browsed around for a bit!

Ran into Guy aka Pretty Lulu – without his mask! Didn’t get to talk for long because my parents were abandoning me and walking away haha orz. I always seem to look like crap when I take quick photos therefore black blobby thing will hide my weird facial expression.

(Louis Vuitton store display! Dat wig, so intense.)
Found a nice restaurant down one of the side streets (I can’t remember the name at the moment, but when I find it I’ll post it! The food was amazing!) Our waiter was this pretty blonde girl… It was amazing to see her talking to us in English and then immediately switch over to French for the people at the other table! It was actually like that in most stores, everybody here seems bilingual. I think you could live in Montreal and not have to speak any french at all!
I forget what kind of soup this was… Clam chowder I think? It was really good.
My dad had some kind of chicken salad! Omnomnom.
I got sliders… There were three little burgers each a different flavor! One had BBQ sauce, one had a mushroom thing inside, and the other… I forget BUT IT WAS REALLY GOOD.
Walked back on Rue Rene-Levesque (I think that’s the name?) Passed by this cathedral thing.
Cool effects made with iDarkroom 😀

Walked back to the hotel.

That’s the end of day 1! Will update again when I have time, hopefully I’ll be able to write up one more post for tomorrow!

Fathers Day/ Lazy Sunday

Okay this is my first time blogging from my iPhone! Ooh so cool, except I can’t use those cute emoji orz… I can only use ones that are built into my iPhone! ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Anyway, today has been a really nice, lazy Sunday! I should actually be stressing about exams next week but honestly I’m too chill about it now… My exams are English, French and international business. English I should study for, French is super easy since my teacher is ridiculously slack and international business is just 100 multiple choice questions. ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ I’ll study later, just not in the mood now ヽ(;▽;)ノ

Went out earlier today to have lunch for Father’s Day! Originally planned to go to a Chinese restaurant but it was super crowded… Then went to Mandarin (big Chinese buffet chain) but they were super overpriced, so ended up going to a Japanese restaurant… (^O^☆♪

My outfit for the day!

Top; Forever 21 / Shorts; Stitches
You can see my awesome metapod charm, made by Taylor ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

Mom ended up ordering way too much lol, trying so hard to eat my chicken teriyaki bento… but managed to finish it! /triumphant ãƒ½(;▽;)ノ

Also that’s it for now, I will end this post with pictures of my cat.

THE ROYAL WEDDING.

Hello my lovelies!

Guess what I’m going to blog about today? (If you read the title, you’d know)
I’ll be blogging about “THE ROYAL WEDDING”  The wedding that takes place on April 29th, 2011. The marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton!

I was brought up in a very pro-british household, haha! My father is from England, and he adores the monarchy. So it was drilled into my brain at a very young age that the monarchy is the best and tea and crumpets and England and lalalala  I don’t really mind, I think it’s quite fun. I love the idea of kings and queens, princes and princesses.  My mom, who was pretty new to Western culture when I was younger (she’s from China), was also….brainwashed by my dad into loving the british monarchy.

My aunt lives in Wales. She knows my mom really loves the british monarchy so she bought some of the commemorative merchandise that’s being sold! (They don’t sell them in Canada.)

Pictures~! (They wouldn’t rotate )

 Ornament thing 😀
It reads “William  Catherine”

I think this is a towel….
But there’s a big cursive ‘W’ and ‘C’

Cup!
It reads along the top,
“The marriage of Prince William to Catherine Middleton. A celebration. 29th April 2011”

Apparently, they’ll be coming to Canada for their first overseas trip!  Aw yeah!!
Therefore my mom, dad, and I, will be driving to Ottawa for when they arrive for Canada Day celebrations!
It’s super exciting. I’ve always wanted to see a prince or princess!  Especially when Prince William will one day be King!  I’ll have something to tell my kids, haha!

Sorry for such a pointless post, but I’m excited!
I’ll try to find something more interesting to blog about later!

-Sachie

RIP

My lovely cat Pingy died 2 days ago.
She was 18 years old, which is AMAZING for a cat.
She had to be put down because her kidneys were failing.
(She wasn’t in pain, but was getting very weak and very thin)

I miss her. D:
It doesn’t feel like she’s gone yet.
I still feel like my dad left her at the vet’s office for an overnight appointment and we’re going to
pick her up later.
But I’d rather she went peacefully in sleep than painfully.
I miss her. so much >:

There’s a little ghost kitty walking around my house now, sleeping on my bed and sitting on my chair.

I have lots of pictures of her on my phone but I can’t take any of the pictures off.
It says I have to reformat the memory chip before I can use it again and that means it’ll clean off all off my pictures of her, so I’m going to Walmart to have them made into photos before I reformat. D:

Mom and Dad are looking to buy a new kitty soon. Siamese kitten!
My mom is very sad and lonely and wants to have a cat to keep her company. She wants to name it Happy or Nina. (I don’t want to name my cat those names >___>)
I want to name it Ling Ling because it sounds like Ping. 😀
We are looking for a breeder soon. I will take pictures with my LingLing ♥
I still love Pingy the most though ♥

RIP PingyWingy♥♥♥

Toronto trip~

Hello everybody! <span class=

As promised, here’s the happier, lighter post!
Yesterday I went downtown Toronto. My parents woke me up earlier and then spontaneously told me that we were going downtown. So I was like sure. <span class=
I love Toronto – after all I was born there!

We took the subway down there and we passed a bunch of buildings that had some really good graffiti on them! <span class=

We got off at Chinatown! My mom wanted to go buy a backscratcher thing for my grandpa! I went across the road to Anime Xtreme but it was closed. I forgot to take a picture of the giant Miku poster they had in their display!

We went walking further down and saw this store that sold electric powered motor bikes! They were pretty cute – my parents went inside and talked to the store owner. I think my dad is going to buy one.
I mean they’re cute and all, I just think that my dad is going to look dorky riding one. XD

I saw this sign in the doorway of a shop. It was selling shoes! But it made me laugh because it’s really silly!

A street car~
(LOL my captions are getting quite boring )
I like this picture though~ XD

I saw this in one of the washroom stalls in one of the Chinatown Malls!
It says:
GIRL BOY BOY
Have your kids in this order and they’ll be as successful as Meryl Streep and Hillary Clinton (both 1st born children of 3 who have 2 younger brothers.)
Also, Pierre Trudeau [a previous Prime Minister of Canada] was the middle child (he had an older sister and a younger brother) and he was rich and powerful.

We saw this on the side of a restaurant! I thought these were so cute! There were more photos of them – all chickens and birdies drawn in this style! So cute. :3

Street in Toronto! I can’t remember which street this is, but it’s just to give you an idea! And the streets aren’t normally this…empty either! The streets are usually full of cars!

We saw these outside some building too! These were really strange, they were like, mutated rabbit things. So I obviously had the urge to go and sit on one.
My friend told me they looked like Umbreon from Pokemon! They kinda do, don’t they? XD
Making a fishy face! P:

PEACE OUT~~!!

We walked over to the CN tower! This is the Rogers Centre (a big dome where they hold concerts and baseball games and stuff). The CN Tower and the Rogers Centre are also beside the convention hall where Fan Expo, MTAC, and DTAC are held!

CN tower again! Tall tower is tall!

We also walked into a place called the Paws Way – Pet Discovery Centre. It’s like a museam centre about animals – mostly cats and dogs though. Dogs are also allowed to come it and eat at the little restaurant inside! Today they were holding a dog show for Scottish breeds! The dogs were really cute <33 data-blogger-escaped-div=”div”>

During the Scottish presentation thing, when they were getting the dogs ready, a bunch of old dude came on in kilts and sang scottish songs. 8’D

I think this was called a Border Collie? OMG SO CUTE, THE CUTEST DOG I HAVE EVER SEEN <33 data-blogger-escaped-font=”font”>

Doggy inside getting a haircut! He had a little poofy dog afro. XD

Downtown Toronto’s harborfront! It’s a really nice view~ If you go further back, you can see the whole lake and even Centre Island! 😀

ICECREAM~ Espresso flake is my favourite ♥

Thats it, thanks for reading! 😀

Progress!

I don’t know what’s been happening to me lately, but I think I’ve changed alot! xD;;

I think I’m tuning myself into high gear for grade 12! Since this is technically going to be my most important year of school and my grade will ultimately determine my
future and how well I’ll do in life… -no pressure?!-

So yesterday, I cleaned my *incredibly* messy room!
It was pretty bad… It actually took me yesterday and today to sort out my desk and drawers..
But at least now they’re sorted out! Yay! 😀

I also need to start organizing stuff for school! I know, it’s July and I should be relaxing :3
But I also really like buying pens and pencils and notebooks and school supplies. ;3; ~ I’m so nerdy, LOL.
Anyway, I’ll prob buy some at Pacific Mall when I go in two weeks. :3

Oh! I ordered some circle lenses! GEO Princess Black and EOS Pure Grey! 😀
I hope they look alright! I’ve been wanting some black circle lenses. I’ve heard good things about EOS too so I was planning to try them out… Pure apparently looks really natural so I hope it blends in alright with my brown eyes. :33

I met my cousin Lily today at a chinese restaurant for Dim Sum! She’s staying in Canada for a month for vacation! The last time I saw her was when I was in China… so like 4 years ago??
She’s really cute! ^___^

Aww! 😀

Ahh *__*

I’m sorry, I haven’t been updating alot! That will change next week~

This week many things happened! :3

First of all, we got back from Paris! Paris was really beautiful but it was so hot! Almost 35- 40*C every day! ;3; Hotter than back here in Canada, where it’s been ranging from 25-30*C…
I can’t take the hot weather very well. It was so hot there and we didn’t have A/C! I felt so spoiled (hehe) because the apartment that we were in wasn’t allowed to have A/C. I just spent most of my time when were were in the apartment in front of the fan~

I’ll post some pictures later when I get the USB that my dad downloaded them onto! :3

Next, two days ago my friend Chelsea slept over! For her birthday present, I made her a Link (from the Zelda games) cosplay!

It’s about 85% done, we still need to get her the boots, white tights, and put a cleaner trim along the insides of the sleeves! It was fun making this, although I think I’m more of a prop-maker than a seamstress. 😛

My bangs are also kinda wonky so I’m going to trim them now~
I’ll be updating the Cosplay feature soon so don’t worry about that for now! ;3; ♥

Thanks! 😀
