One Of A Kind Show Toronto 2016
Hello lovelies! Time to finish up with all the leftover draft that I forgot about… Better late than never, right? I decided to check out the One of A Kind Show in the Enercare Centre in downtown Toronto on December 3rd! It’s a large crafts exhibition that is held in December (Christmas show), and March (Spring show.) The show hall is filled with booths showcasing original artwork, clothing, ceramics, and food. Many items are one of a kind, as the show name suggests. We perused the aisles for a few hours and picked up a few Christmas gifts. Today, I’ll be sharing some of my favourite booths!
Here are a few local small businesses fantastic Canadian creators. Keep reading to see what we got up to…
I’m baaack!! A while ago, I bought a giant pudding kit from some online Japanese snack store because 1. I like pudding, and 2. I wanted to see if I could eat 3kg of it. I roped my lovely roommate mle into the shenanigans, and filmed us making it!
It was an experience, to say the least.

A little bit of Boxing Day beauty shopping…
I love Christmas, but I will admit, I do love looking at all the Boxing Day deals that come in following week. If 2016 was my year of discovering new makeup, then 2017 will be the year of skincare. I picked up a few of Sephora’s boxing day value sets with some Christmas giftcards, as well as some skincare and makeup bits from BeautyBoutique.

Hello lovelies! Hope your Christmas and New Year’s celebrations were fun! I’m starting to get back into the swing of regular blog posts. How did you spend your New Year’s Eve? I’ve always been the type of person who wants to go out on New Year’s, wear a fancy dress, and party all night! However, I’ve haven’t actually been able to cross that off my bucklet list. Maybe next year. This New Year’s Eve, we took it easy.
Matt and I had a pair of free tickets to the Ontario Science Centre which expired on the 31st. We had no other plans, so we thought why not? I’ve never actually been to the Science Centre, so we figured it would make for a nice little date. Unfortunately it’s a little ways outside of downtown Toronto, just off the Don Mills Parkway.
If I had to describe 2016 in a few words, they would be….
- Extremely mediocre.
Overall, this was not a great year for me. So ironic because 2015 was one of my most memorable years (which you can read in my 2015 Year in Instax post), and all of those memories and accomplishments came down to a crashing halt about a quarter into 2016. I’m looking forward to 2017 and the fresh start it will bring!
