Hiya lovelies!!
Here are pictures of my “completed” Syndra cosplay. Completed in quotations because I didn’t actually finish the skirt, I didn’t have time so I just cut a few pieces of black fabric and tucked them into my shorts haha. Sssh don’t tell anyone!!
Here are pictures of my completed cosplay! Starting off with the makeup and circle lenses. Armor and outfits can look cool, but you can’t forget about your face!
The bracers look quite black in these photos, but they’re mostly dark purple and gold with silver detailing. Lots of weathering and drybrushing with dark paints to get the worn look.
Back and fromnt of my helmet. You can see the worbla/craft foam pieces on the front and sides but I’m planning to smooth them all out for the next convention! The ear pieces are made from craft foam and hotglued onto the sides of the helmet.
I bought my silver ponytail wig from wig-supplier.com. It was actually a twin-tail wig but I dissected one of the ponytails to create the two little long bits that hang out of the front part of her hair.
I am wearing the Vassen Bambi Queen Violet circle lenses that I got from Pinky Paradise. You can get them here! They are “natural” purple lenses (not super bright) that have a strong black outer ring and fade to yellow in the middle! I’ll be doing a full circle lens post on all of the lenses I used at Anime Expo.
Selfie taken on the way to the convention! I’m not crying haha! I had just put my lenses in + some eyedrops π
I chose to do a strong winged eye, and thick dark eyeliner on the lower waterline. I really contoured my face to make it look more angular. I gave myself strong cheek contour/highlighting, contoured my nose to look more defined. Wore a sheer red lip balm. Didn’t colour my eyebrows but filled them in with light brown powder. Syndra’s outfit was mostly black and the helmet/wig were covering my eyebrows so I wasn’t super concerned.
Jom chillin in my armor! Peipa-chan had to pretty much glue my into my armor because I didn’t have time to make proper straps with velcro haha! At the end of the day I had to cut myself out of my costume ;v;
Was lucky enough to participate in Sky William’s newest video! We pretty much just had to catwalk and put on our cosplay which they edited together and made into a timelapse. These cosplayers are so talented so I was honoured to be able to film alongside them! :0
With the beautiful Domineau as Ironscale Shyvana on the right. On the left, met a super cool Graves cosplayer at Sky William’s video shoot! His gun looked SO LEGIITTT and it was super light as well!!
Thanks for reading! Let me know if you have any questions about how it was made or painted. I’ll try my best to answer them asap!
Heya lovelies!
I often get messages from viewers asking for me to make makeup tutorial videos… I’m not very good at them, and I always forget to add things or do proper voiceovers to make them nice like beauty guru tutorials!!
I love makeup though, so I thought I would start doing blog tutorials instead. I’m not perfect, but I’ve learned what works for me! I guess my style is influenced by gyaru makeup since I used to read a ton of Popteen when I first started out with makeup. I use this style for most of my cosplays.
Feel free to save these images for references! Please keep in mind that this is how I usually do my makeup for cosplay, suited to my eye shape. It takes a bit of practice to adapt the tutorial to suit your own eye shape!

Hey lovelies!
Many girls out there are lucky enough to have great skin, and unfortunately, I am not one of them. I’ve struggled with my skin since I was in my early teens. When I turned 13, I was plagued with acne that stayed with me until just about last year. I have combination skin. In my early to mid teens, I had pimples everywhere. My acne was often concentrated on my forehead, little bumps on my nose, just under my eyes, on my chin. In videos that I posted back in 2012, people still make comments on my skin saying that it’s terrible and how I have too much acne. Whenever it was exam/project time, whenever it was “that time of the month”, whenever I felt anxious, bam! Face full o’ acne.
But Sacchan, that’s gross! Why are you tell us this?
Well, ~for the first time in forever~, I have (relatively) clear skin. It makes me really happy, as my poor skin caused a lot of body image and confidence issues!! I know many people who follow me are in their teens and are dealing with some skin issues at the moment, so I wanted to offer my routine. I think it really helped clear up my face! If you’re looking for new products or routines to try out, hopefully this will be of help.
Drink more water!
I drink 2 of these 750ml bottles a day. I think a big factor in my skin problems was that my skin wasnt hydrated enough. I used to drink lots of juice and sugary drinks, but hardly any water. I find that if you carry a bottle around with you, you’ll find yourself reaching for it without even realizing!
Remove all of your makeup!
Take off yo face before you hit the bed! I used to go to sleep without taking my makeup off because I couldn’t be bothered. Makeup will get on your pillow, which will then transfer bacteria back onto your face when you go to sleep again.
I use Johnson Makeup Be Gone wipes (I prefer these to the Simple wipes because the cloth is thicker/more absorbent.) I then follow with L’Oreal Micellar Cleansing Water, which is an absolute miracle. It removes all makeup without drying the skin out! After I wash my face, I spray some of Lush’s Tea Tree toner onto a cotton pad and gently wipe my face to remove any leftover traces of makeup,
Wash face twice a day
Common sense, but in high school I would sometimes used to use the same wash cloth for more than a week. (Gross, I know, but I was kind of late jumping on the whole makeup/cleansing bandwagon that most girls started in early middle school.)
In the mornings, I like to use Soap & Glory’s Peaches and Clean cleanser because the smell really wakes me up. I use Clean and Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash in the evenings. It has a light smell, and tiny microscrubbing beads.
Tone and moisturize!
After washing your face, it is important to return the moisture to the skin. I looooove Garnier products, my skin really soaks them up. I have 4 that I am using at the moment!
Right now, I mostly use Garnier’s Moisture Match hydrating gel! I’m absolutely in love with this product, I’ve gotten through three bottles already! It’s a light gel that is moisturising and nonsticky, and quickly absorbs into the skin. The illuminating light lotion is great for days when I don’t wear makeup. I often use the mattifying one before I put makeup on when I’ll be out for the day.
I just recently bought this Garnier Essentials Hydrating Day Care lotion because it was on sale at Sainsbury’s for Β£2, hehehe!! It’s a lotion with a gel consistency, dries quickly and makes the skin feel super soft. I’m starting to use it in my night time routine.
Facial mask once a week!
I’ve recently started using facial masks on a weekly basis. They really help to soften the skin, and they smell great. I hate waiting around so I usually put one on in the evenings when I’m watching Netflix, haha. Right now, I’m in love with Lush’s BB Seaweed mask. It smells lovely and feels great on the skin. It was a totally random find though, I was walking through Lush one day and spotted it! My mind immediately thought seaweed + paste + face = probably a good idea, and I was right.
Hopefully this helps out! All of these products work for me and I highly recommend them. Other than the Lush items, you can find all of these products in drugstores like Boots!~
What are some of your skin saviours? Let me know in the comments! π
Hello lovelies!
A few weeks ago, I ordered Stila’s Positively Pink set! It was a charity set for breast cancer awareness! It comes with a blush and a lip glaze! It was on sale for Β£3.50 (or something around that, can’t remember the exact price) on the Stila.co.uk website with free shipping! With a steal like that (especially for Stila), I couldn’t resist!
Positively Pink Cheek Palette
A slightly peachy, pink blush with an embossed breast cancer ribbon design. There are two ribbons that have a slightly pink, champagne spray over which adds a little shimmer to the blush colour!
Lip Glaze in Splendor
I’ve never really tried Stila’s lip glazes before so I didn’t really know what to expect. The gloss is super sticky, but it sticks to your lips and doesn’t move. I like that kind of feeling on a gloss! It is light pink and very shimmery, very cute! It would probably look nicer over a lipstick or stain to add a lovely shimmer over a rosiser shade!
I’m glad I managed to snag this set! A higher end brand set for less than most individual drug store makeup products! Sometime it pays off to follow hundreds of beauty blogs π
I’ll be doing a make up tutorial with these products soon, stay tuned!
Hiya lovelies~
I’ve had Urban Decay’s Naked palette for two years now, and it’s lovely. It has neutral colours that I wear very often, and the pigmentation is fantastic. However, after seeing a post on Reddit’s r/makeupaddiction, I was inspired to remake my palette.
I only really use a few of the colours on a regular basis. Since I’ve been in the UK, I’ve been travelling regularly, which means I can’t really carry a long palette with me everywhere! I prefer the tin packaging of the Naked 2 and 3 to the first one, so I thought it was time to remake my Naked palette!
(Painful to see, right? haha.) As you can see, my original Naked palette has a cracked mirror and the packaging really isn’t that nice. I used a thin xacto knife to lift up the eyeshadow tins.
Next, I took the e.l.f. contouring blush and bronzer compact and did the same thing! This compact is nice because it has quite a big mirror, is hard/sturdy, and is a great portable size. I like the blush, it’s peachy with micro gold glitter in it! It’s supposedly a dupe for Nars’ Orgasm blush! The bronzer is too dark for me and super super pigmented, it takes a huge amount of blending for it to look normal for me and really isn’t worth the effort… (I got this set for like $3 in Winners so I’m not too attached to it.) I took the blush out of the plastic casing.
In my set, I used double sided tape to stick in the blush, and the Naked palette’s toasted, darkhorse, virgin, sin, sidecar and buck. It’s a shame I couldn’t fit another tin above darkhorse! π But yeah, this is my new palette! Much more convenient, and easy to travel with/pop in my makeup bag.
I took the other colours and the bronzer and put them in another tin! I still use the other colours, but don’t carry them around with me.
Whatcha think? Let me know in the comments.
Seeya later~
I usually only have 1 of these in my makeup bag, but for some reason they were all crammed in there so I decided to include them haha. my go-to for the spring/summer is the peach blush, whereas I’m using the Milani rosegold blush more in fall/winter! I don’t really carry the Elizabeth Arden highlighter too often, I usually just bring it because I like the mirror.
If there are any items you’d like a review on that I haven’t already done a review/swatches for, please let me know in the comments!
Hiya lovelies!
Got some lovely lenses from Candylens to review today! Shipping took about a week to arrive from Malaysia to England. (I think that was about the same time it took to arrive in Canada as well?) Anyway, communication was great, they replied fast to all of my emails, and answered any questions that I had! When a store has great customer service, it makes a great impression and makes me recommend them to my friends! π
Let’s take a look at the lenses, shall we?
Vassen Latte Gray
Seriously loving these lenses. Although the websites states that they are 14.5mm, they give the illusion of being around 16mm. Definitely the most enlarging lenses that I own! They give a super dolly-eyed look. They are grey, with flecks of brown. Has a dark, medium size limbal (outer) ring.
Although the colour is ‘gray’, they appear to be brown on my eyes (the gray isn’t really that noticeable). However, if you have lighter blue/green/grey eyes, these will show up as being gray with a hint of brown!
The design really reminds me of GEO Cafe Mimi series in Macchiato…except being a gray version! Since this design is called ‘Latte’, I’m guessing that it is based on the Cafe series haha…
Vassen Cloud Nine Blue
These lenses are very POW in-your-face blue! Super bright. They are bright cerulean blue, with flecks of pale blue. They also have a very thick black outer ring.
These are not natural at all, but would be great for cosplay! Since they are mainly a solid colour with very little blending of the two colours, they really help to achieve a dolly-eyed look. They are 14.5mm, but I feel like they have a 15mm effect.
Both of these lenses are great because they didn’t make my eyes feel dry or irritated! I haven’t really tried out many Vassen lenses, but I was pleasantly surprised!
Which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments!
If you’re interested in these lenses, you can find them (and many more designs/colours) over at CandyLens!

Heyo lovelies~
Now that I’ve been in the UK for a few weeks, it’s only natural that I delve into the world of ~beauty products that I can’t find in Canada~… Meaning, I’ve been trying out a few items that I have not seen back home! I left a bunch of beauty essentials at home, things that I could easily just buy here! (Moisturizer, shampoo…etc.)
I didn’t buy these all at once, but rather over the span of the past three weeks!
BOURJOIS
First – my makeup purchases! One of the first makeup products that I wanted to try out while in the UK was the Bourjois line. I don’t believe we have this back in Canada? I’ve heard so many beauty gurus/bloggers rave about this brand – especially the Healthy Mix Serum gel foundation.
It claims to have “16 hour radiance” but really, who would want to wear foundation for 16 hours? Haha! It’s a light-medium cover foundation and has a light, gel texture. It smells like apricots! I know many people don’t like scented products, but this scent isn’t overpowering. It lingers for a few minutes and they disappears. Super easy to blend (I love blending it with my Real Techniques buffing brush ahh!) My shade is 52 Vanilla.
This was also on a buy one get one half price deal, so I randomly picked up this Delice de Poudre bronzing powder (which I’m kind of regretting because I already have my NYC Sunny bronzing powder which is amazing).
THIS BRONZER LOOKS AND SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE. I love it! It’s matte and the shade compliments my skin nicely. I chose shade 51, which is a fairly light shade.
SOAP&GLORY
Soap & Glory is one of those brands that I’ve seen in Shoppers, but haven’t really seen anywhere else. I often hear beauty gurus and bloggers ranting on about how much they love the products. Being a totally sheep, I bought two items at Boots (the UK version of Shoppers!) I believe the deal was buy one get one half off.
Clean, Girls; skin softening creamy body wash
Oooooooh man this stuff is good. It’s a scented body wash and it makes you smell like flowers! Super lovely scent. Lathers up nicely and feels lovely on the skin.
Flake Away; shea butter, sugar and peach seed powder spa body polish
Not gonna lie, never really saw the hype behind body polishes. I used the St Ives apricot body scrub back at home but it was a ‘meh/could live without this’ product. Since the deal was buy one get one half off, I decided to try it out! It’s a good product – buffs away dead skin and leaves it feeling great, but the big thing for me is THE SCENT. SMELLS SO GOOD. AHH.
I also hear the body butters are quite good as well, hoping to try those out later on. (My wallet is still sobbing over the amount of money that I’ve spent since I’ve arrived.)
GARNIER
For the first few days, my skin was feeling super dry. I popped by Superdrug and was looking for Aveeno moisturisers, because that’s what I used back at home. They didn’t have any, so I settled with Garnier Moisture Match for dull skin (lol).
I find that products for dull skin have some things (probably magic) in them to brighten up one’s complexion. Not sure if it’s because of this moisturizer, but my skin has been at an all time best so far! A hardly any major blemishes and my skin feels healthy. This has a gel consistency and has a light floral gel scent that faces after application.
L’OREAL
L’Oreal Elvive smooth & polish perfecting conditioner/shampoo ~with keratin polish~
Pretty sure we have the same thing back at home, because the packaging looks virtually the same as the L’Oreal NutriShimmer shampoo. Haven’t seen any amazing results yet, but right now I’m generally looking for anything that’s gonna calm my stupid frizzy hair down π
That’s it for my haul, until next time! π
Ahh damn! I knew this blog every other day thing wouldn’t work out! Haha, it was cool while it lasted, definitely got me into blogging more. I’ve got a lot to talk about in upcoming posts, especially for my upcoming exchange to England! π
Anyway, today is my birthday! It’s been pretty chill, just went to the mall and bought a new point and shoot camera for vlogging and taking pictures (since my DSLR is quite heavy/takes up a lot of space.) By the time this post comes out, I’ll be out having dinner with friends. Woo Pickle Barrel! π
My good friend Mika ordered this for me from Sephora for my birthday! It’s a value lip set, containing different deluxe size samples from popular makeup brands. You can find it here – it retails for $30 in Canada / $25USD! We were actually surfing r/makeupaddiction on Reddit and came across a really good review.. I kinda said that I wanted it without thinking and Mika was like “I’ll get it for your birthday!” Yaay!! π
It includes 6 products – one of which is full sized! (Tarte Lip-Surgence!) This is great for somebody like me who hasn’t really explored in the world of lip glosses, haha. I think lip products are my addiction, I have so many!
It’s funny because the card that came with the order said “Hope you’ll get lots of kisses with these in England.”

0.10 oz Laura Mercier Lip GlacΓ© in Bare Pink – This is a really pretty neutral pink gloss! It has a really strong scent, kinda smells like vanilla cupcake? Or cake batter or something? I typically don’t like this strong of a scent but I really like the smell of this one, and the colour is so nice! A very pretty nude-pink.
0.07 oz BuxomΒ Full-Onβ’ Lip Polish in Dolly – Medium pink gloss with subtle shimmer. I’ve never tried a Buxom gloss before! These are well known in the makeup community because when you apply it on your lips, you get a tingling feeling! It claims to plump your lips up. The cooling sensation is really nice! Lovely colour as well.
0.14 oz NARS Lip Gloss in Turkish Delight – W-wait… what’s that black blur in the corner??
It’s Happy! Every time I try taking blog photos, she get’s a sudden urge for attention and always walks into my photos. Here she is modelling the Nars gloss, haha. The gloss itself is a pale pink gloss. I was very skeptical when I saw this because I typically don’t like very pale colours, I don’t feel like they suit my skin tone that well. However, I found that a little bit goes a long way – using just a dab across the lips gives a nice pale colour without being too light.
0.05 oz Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Rhubarb – Glossy lip pencil. As the name states, it’s very pigmented! Lovely rhubarb colour. Haven’t really worn this much, but I feel like I’ll be wearing this a lot in the fall!
0.10 oz Tarte LipSurgenceβ’ Lip Luster in Glitzy – Full fized product! This is like a glossy lip crayon, a bit more of a smooth texture than the Bite pencil. Medium (slightly copper/orange-toned) pencil with shimmer. I also think this will be a nice fall colour! And it’s full sized, which is even better!
Now, for swatches.
My favourite colours at the moment are the Laura Mercier and Buxom glosses! However, I really like all of these colours and I feel like I’ll be getting a lot of wear out of each of them. It’s great that these are also deluxe sample sizes! I’m not a religious wearer of lip-gloss, so this is a nice way to try out products (for such a good price, I mean $30 for 6 products!!) All of the colours look great across bare lips as well. Haven’t really tried layering them on top of lipsticks yet though because I pretty much only have orange lipsticks at the moment haha….
If you want to see what the colours look like on actual lips, check out this review! This was the review that my friend and I found on Reddit that kinda prompted me to fall in love with it. Glad I did! :)Which one is your favourite?
Definitely recommend this set! If you’re thinking about it, definitely try it out! (The price is great as well!)
I’ll be posting soon when I start preparing for my exchange to England! π Seeya~!
Heyo lovelies!
I follow a lot of beauty bloggers and vloggers. I mean, a lot. Name one, and I probably follow them. I like watching reviews and makeup tutorials and reading blog posts with lots of photographs! I’ve seen many of them raving about Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream as a sort of “holy grail” item. I was in Winners one day and saw they had a brand new box of it it on sale for $10! I decided to try it out.

A while ago, the new circle lens and wig store called Pinkicon contacted me, asking me if I’d like to review some products for them! They are a promising new store located in Hong Kong, and have a variety of items.
I received three different packages from them. They were sent by EMS and arrived within a few days. Communication was super fast, and I always got a reply within a day. Customer service was great.
Starmish Brown are 14.5mm lenses. They are a fairly bold orange-brown/copper colour. The colour is quite striking! I love the look of this colour on my eyes since I’ve never really tried it before. Reminds me of cat eyes haha!
Dali Heart Brown are dark brown lenses that have a subtle heart pattern. I typically don’t like darker brown lenses (because I’d rather have yellowish eyes hahaha) but these are quite nice. If you have dark brown eyes and want a big dolly enlargement, these would be ideal.
Magic Magic is a Japanese falsies brand. I’ve never heard of it before (Well, I’m not exactly up the biggest connoisseur of gyaru lashes), but the designs are really cute.
Magic Magic false eyelashes — I was sent two different types. Not too sure about the names. The first one in the purple package sports more of a cat-eye style. Lashes are fairly natural but have more of an accent towards the ends. The lashes in the pink box are fairly natural but have smaller accents on both ends.
I prefer the cat-eye style!
The lash also came with lash glue. The glue was pretty weak and didn’t stick very well. Bit of a miss for me. The cool thing about this though is that it’s kind of a tinted color? Like, the glue itself is a white colour but looks kind of blue and purple from different lights/angles, if that makes sense.
The next package contained the wig. It’s a pink-ash milk-tea brown color. This wig is soooo soft! It has some curls but the curls disappear once you brush it out, which is kind of sad. But man, the quality of this wig is lovely. It doesn’t tangle at all! It’s not the most flattering colour on me since I tend to rock the darker colours, but this was a nice change! The package came with a wig cap and brush. You can see how it looks on me in the video below π
The last package was a wig stand. It came in three pieces – two main body pieces and a top ring. You cross the two body parts over and then secure the ring part along the top! This is great. It’s light and easy to assemble. Definitely going to bring this with me to cons, since we usually never bring wig stands with us because they take up so much room.
I actually posted the review video a loonnnnggg time ago, but totally forgot about the blog post! Whoopsiiii~~
Anyway thanks for reading, seeya the day after tomorrow!
Hello lovelies!
A while ago, the lovely owner of w2beauty.com messaged me and asked me if I wanted to review some products! As you know, I’m a huge fan of Asian beauty products. Their store has a huge selection of korean beauty products, so it’s really a one stop shop for all of your Asian cosmetic needs! π I picked out some things to review for you, as well as putting together a little makeup tutorial! I think I’ll put all of my makeup content on my blog, since I think it feels a little out of place on my youtube page~
ETUDE HOUSE TEAR DROP LINER – NO.4 SUNSHINE
This is a champaign colored glitter liner. This is great for the inner corner of the eyes and lower lash line! I’ve seen this used in many ulzzang makeup tutorials It really brightens up the eyes. Very sparkly when it catches the light!
HOLIKA HOLIKA – MERRY HOLIKA ALL OVER FACE BLUSH
EXCUSE ME BUT CAN WE TALK ABOUT PACKAGING? Oh my lorrrrddd this is probably one of the prettiest packages I’ve ever seen for makeup. (I might be biased because of the cats haha :3c) The case is so pretty!
The blush itself is multi colored. There are white, violet, and light pink highlighting tones, in addition to peach, orange, and coral blush tones! So I guess this would bea highlighting/blush duo. The mixed colours results in a light, shimmery peachy shade. Such a pretty colour for spring/summer! I’ve been wearing it non-stop. Definitely my favourite blush so far!
ETUDE HOUSE PERFECT BROW KIT
I will be the first to admit that I need all the help I can get with my eyebrows. Due to my trich (pulling out eyebrow hairs when I get stressed,) my eyebrows don’t look very nice. Luckily, these powders help me sort them out!
There are three colours in this palette. A highlighting color, a medium brown and a dark brown. My eyebrows are dark, so I use the darkest colour. The kit comes with a spooley brush and a dual-head angled brush and soft shadow brush.
This is a transulent powder. I’ve been in need for a new one because my Maybelline one is too dark for me at the moment (it’s more of my ‘summer’ skin tone, when I’ve tanned a bit more.) Right now I’m working, and my face tends to get a little bit oily during the day, especially when I have to work 8 hour shifts *cry* This super cute powder pact has an embossed cat paw print! And the case is adorable. The powder has a light sweet scent which quickly fades away. Does an amazing job at oil control. Doesn’t clog pores either!
CAT CHU WINK LIPSTICK in colour #7
Ahem. *insert fangirling about packaging.* This is a very nice lipstick! I’m totally obsessed with orangey/peach/coral lipsticks. It seems to be the only colour that works really well on my skin tone. Pinks look really strange on me, reds are okay, but oranges work really well! It’s quite creamy, but settles in the dry cracks of your lips after a while so you’ll have to reapply.
So…. Giveaway time! Win your favourite product out of the ones that I reviewed! π
a Rafflecopter giveaway
Giveaway ends on the 24th of July… I’ll make a post a few days before reminding everyone again! :}
Also sorry for the lack of posts… I’m terribly busy at the moment, with juggling two jobs as well as trying to keep my youtube page active. I’ll try to do a few posts and then schedule them so you guys have something to read. Please leave me a comment telling me what kind of posts you’d like to see and I’ll try to do those asap!
A few people have asked if I could make a post on the current products that I use on my hair!

Probably because of my fabulous hairflip intros haha~ I thought I might as well just couple it with some skincare products. (Mainly because the lighting in the bathroom was quite nice and I wanted to take photos.)
TRESemmΓ© Naturals Shampoo – It has less sulfates (which is always good) and helps smooth out frizzies (I haven’t cut my hair in forever so it gets huuuuuuge after showering, so anything to help smooth out/flatten my hair is great!)
Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Mask – holy grail product – makes my hair smell AMAZING! Also smooths, detangles and moisturises.
Royal Spa Conditioner – I’ve been using it forever since my mom uses Royal Spa hair products religiously. I don’t even know where you can get this stuff because she orders it through her friend or something? Anyway it also smells amazing and makes my hair feel super soft.
Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser – skin is currently quite acne-prone (this always happens around exam/final project time, ughggdjkfghdjkfghkjg)
Olay ProX Exfoliating Renewal Cleanser – smells kinda weird but feels nice on the skin – fairly light exfoliator.
Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash – Smells really nice, I like to use it when my skin isn’t acne-prone!
As for tools…
Tosowoong Pore Brush – the most amazing pore brush ever. It has so many super soft bristles and lathers up face wash so nicely!
Olay ProX exfoliating cleansing brush – I use this when my skin gets a bit more dry, to get rid of the dry skin on my face. (Happens quite often during the winter, especially since winter seems to be dragging on!)
Let me know if there are any other reviews you would like to see~
Hello lovelies! I’ve got a contact lens review for you today, haven’t done one in a while now!
As I mentioned in a previous post, I’m planning to cosplay Hinata from Naruto Shippuden! She’s a character that has ‘white out eyes’ – she doesn’t have a black pupil.
I bought these contacts from youknowit.com. I haven’t bought lenses from them before, but apparently they’re quite well known. They sell lots of special effects contact lenses (like scleral/full eye contacts, ones with special designs…etc. Not really circle lenses)
These lenses are Β£17.99… I can’t remember the exact price for these, but I’m pretty sure it came to a little over $30. The store is located in the UK, and it took about a week to ship here in Canada! π
Unlike regular contacts, there is no part for the pupil to see through, since the purpose of these lenses is to create a whiteout effect.
So you’re probably wondering how much it actually obscures your vision! This is based on my experience with them. For reference, I don’t wear glasses, I have 20/20 or plano vision (0.00). Also my eyes are a bit watery in this picture because I had just put them in! I swear my blog is mostly freaky/weird pictures of my eyes hahaha.
If you have dark eyes, they do show through the mesh and are pretty obvious up close. However, they look less noticeable from far away. Instead of having pure white-out eyes, your eyes just look dead and gray.
Since it’s a mesh/screen design, you can still see through the mesh. Your vision is probably reduced down to about 60% of your typical degree of visibility. You can still see things such as basic outlines, colours, and shapes. If you bring something up close to your eyes (such as something with writing) and focus harder, you can read.
For example, here is a photo that I took a while ago!
This is what you would see with your regular eyesight.
If you had these lenses in and there was a pretty good amount of light, or it was day time, the photo would look like this. A little bit of blurriness. It basically looks like somebody took a big white overlay and put it over your field of vision.
If there was a low-medium amount of light, it would look like this. You can see more colour and generally make out more of things, but there’s still a bit of white overcast.
Basically, the more light there is, the less you can see. (Not sure what it’s like with the other colours, but this is definitely the case with white lenses.) If you plan on wearing these, make sure you have a friend or somebody who can guide you because these do obscure your vision. I wouldn’t wear these for long periods of time either, as they do make your eyesight a tad blurry/ might cause headaches.
Anyway, yeah. Just be careful when you wear these lenses! :>
Woooo slowing getting back into reviews! I’m quite behind on them but I’m getting back into the swing of things!
I received a few things from Wishtrend to review! Wishtrend is a website that sells loads of Korean beauty products. I know lots of my readers are interested in Asian cosmetics, so you might want to check them out! They sell lots of products from popular brands such as Skin79, Elishacoy, Tosowoong…etc!
I’ve really been loving these products recently, so I thought I would make a post on the beauty/skin products that I’m currently using.
My holy grail item – the NAKED Palette (Urban Decay). I use it almost every day, whether it’s for a darker eye, or just for a sheer shimmery wash across the lids. I first discovered it through various Youtube Makeup gurus who were raving about it, but didn’t actually try it out until Sami let me see hers at Otakon! I love it, totally worth the money! Sometimes I use darkhorse and smog as liners if I want something softer than liquid liner.
Fresh’s SUGAR lip products. I use all of them because they are so wearable! Swatched them here. I use Rose the most because I like it the best, although I have been using the clear lip treatment (dark red tube) and patting some peach blush over the top to get a nice matte peachy lip.
I’ve actually taken these pictures a while ago, so I’ve actually switched out my Maybeline Dream Matte Powder (in Sand) to my Luview Pressed Powder Compact because my skin is getting lighter for winter.
Also using Imogen Rose solid perfume from LUSH quite often for a lovely rose scent. Right – my makeup bag!
Top is my Lioele Eyeshadow Trio – mainly use it for the shimmy champagne shade as an inner corner highlight. Whenever I use contact lenses, or if I have red eyes in the morning, I use my Rohto Lycee eye drops. (Love them!) As for liquid liners, I use Dolly Wink and Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto. I use Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion to prime my eyeshadow, but I only use it if I’m going out/want the shadows to last for long periods of time. Top is my Skinfood Dark Circle Salmon eye concealer, it’s got quite heavy coverage and hides my eyebags (no sleep in university, cry). Finally, a black kohl eyeliner pen (not sure about the brand, it rubbed off.)
Maybelline’s Megaplush Volum’ Express Mascara. It’s great for lengthening. Doesn’t really volumize, but creates nice fluttery eyelashes!
These St.Ives Fresh Skin cleansing cloths do a great job of removing face oil and makeup, but aren’t too drying! Also decided to try out Pond’s dry skin cream as the change in weather is really drying out the skin on my face. It’s probably the best cream I’ve tried out so far, super moisturising! Definitely recommend it! (It’s pretty cheap too, I think it was like $7 at Shoppers Drug Mart)
What are your favourite everyday beauty items? π
Hello darlings! I’m back with a circle lens review. Hopefully I’ll be able to get a few more of these up soon!
I get loads of questions about what lenses I wear in my videos/photos, as well as where I get them. The lovely people at AngelContacts let me choose two pairs of lenses to review! I chose GEO Fresh Brown and Nudy Blue.
Communication was extremely fast – I would receive a reply to my emails within one day – sometimes on the same day! They really value customer service, which adds onto the pleasant shopping experience.
In terms of packaging, AngelContacts has probably been the best I’ve seen so far! My package arrived in a bubble-wrap envelope. Contacts were packaged in these little plastic cases, with business cards inside. They also included a little booklet showcasing the different designs, which I have never seen a circle lens store do!
GEO FRESH BROWN – Recently, I’ve been looking more at lenses that would be suitable for every day wear. I feel like 14.5mm/15mm lenses look a little too surreal for daily wear at school. I don’t wear lenses very often at school, only on days that I want to look extra nice, or for special events. I was searching for a natural brown coloured lens that would enlarge my eyes and help to achieve a dolly eye effect! The fresh series caught my eye – it has a very natural design with subtle enlargement.
These are probably my favourite natural lens so far! The design actually reminds me a lot of my favourite lenses! My ‘signature’ circle lenses, aka GEO Cafe Mimi lenses in Latte brown, are a little too big/alien for regular daily wear, so these are a great alternative.
Next, I decided to check out GEO NUDY BLUE. I’ve tried the Nudy series before, but I have to say, the blue color is definitely my favourite. (Review for green and violet).
Nudy lenses are famous for giving a ‘sparkly’ eye look, and are great for blending into one’s natural eye color. They stand out nicely on dark/medium brown eyes. I’m sure they would look great on light eyes as well!
Went to LUSH last weekend to pick up a relaxing bath bomb~ The bath/shower in my current house is kind of gross therefore I refuse to have a bath in it, only showers. Since I was going home for the weekend and had just finished a wave of projects, I wanted to sit down and relax! (You guys know how much I love my bath salts hahaha!)
Picked up the Sakura Bath Bomb ($6.45).
When the blossoms burst forth in spring, itβs a tradition to take a picnic and bottle of sake and enjoy the beauty. Noriko, one of our product inventors, hails from Japan and this beautiful Bath Bomb represents what itβs like to be in a park while the breeze blows through the blossoms in the trees. Instead of heading to the park, lay back in serene waters while the gorgeous scents of mimosa and jasmine envelop you to give you the joyful feeling of springtime. Sakura: simple, elegant, and enduringly beautiful bathing. – LUSH website
The smell was quite nice, but that’s about I really have to say about this. Not really sure what I was expecting with this, but I didn’t feel anything extra for my skin. The smell didn’t last too long, and no water effects (thickening, heating, etc) like my bison bath salts. To be honest I felt kind of bad because in my opinion $6.45 is quite expensive for a bath bomb. The only once that I’ve tried so far and loved was Pheonix Rising.
Hopefully one day, I’ll be able to try out the other products, such as the masks, shower gels etc. I have Lush solid perfume (Imogen Rose), and previously used their solid shampoo bars! I might stay away from the bath bombs for a while though… I’ll stick to my bison salts π
I’m super tired today but I feel terrible for not updating my blog, so here’s a spontaneous review post!
This past weekend, a family friend came over and brought me some goodies! Aaaaa lovely lovely things!
First, lip tints! These lip tints are by fresh, part of their Sugar Lip Treatments! Sephora is currently offering miniature versions of Rose and the clear treatments as part of their Beauty Insider birthday gift program! I picked up the mini versions for my birthday in August and have been in love with them ever since. Luckily, I received the full size versions of Honey and Coral! Also received a lipstick from Make Up Forever in the shade N34.
Coral is a bright coral – red orange tint. Although it is a tint, the color is quite opaque and glossy. Coral is a lip treatment, therefore it moisturises, conditions, and repairs the skin on your lips! while providing a nice pop of colour! Lasts fairly long, although the color tends to fade to the edges making it look like you’re wearing lip liner. Fine on reapplication though.
Honey is a toned down brown/nude pink. Probably the most wearable, toned down colour of the three. Applies semi-sheer. Like Coral, it is a tinted lip treatment. I’ve been wearing this color the most out of the three.
N34 is a cool-toned medium pink color. Not as glossy as the others, but then again, it’s a lip stick.
Swatches on my arm. Since I haven’t done swatches of the mini Sugar duo from Sephora, I thought I’d toss them in here.
Hahaha not too sure why I swatched a clear balm, but there you go. Rose is my favourite because it gives a nice wash of color. The formula isn’t sticky either, and is super moisturizing.
Definitely in love with these sugar tints! Which is your favourite color?
A little while ago, Shoppingholics sent me some lenses to review!
I always seem to review super huge dolly lenses, but this time I decided to take a look at some more natural looking lenses. I found the perfect ones when I tried on the lenses from the GEO Tricolor series! (β‘ΛοΈΆΛβ‘)
Lenses arrived in these cute boxes~ It also included a very cute thank you card! The extra effort put into customer service really makes the difference. (Β΄;Ο;`)
These are the green lenses. They come in the smallest size (14mm) and, as the name suggests, they have three colors – darker green outer ring, medium green body, and a light green/yellow inner ring! The design is pixelated up close, but appears to blend very well on the actual eye.
Lenses on naked eye~ no makeup! Very natural coloring, blends in quite well with my brown eyes. Even without makeup, they look super natural. Picture taken in natural indoor lighting by a window.
In outdoor lighting! The green colors look a bit darker on brown eyes, but that adds to the more natural look.
Now for the violet lenses! The colouring consists of a darker purple outer ring, medium purple in the middle, and a light purple/brown for the inner ring. It’s not a super vibrant violet colour, so it can be suited for daily wear.
I didn’t get an opportunity to upload a picture in natural lighting, but I’ll be sure to update this post when I get it!
LOL ok I know my eyes look kind of scary, but here is a picture of both lenses taken in natural indoor lighting (by a window). I love the colors of these lenses so much!
Now a picture with heavier eye make up. Despite not being bigger in size, the dolly eye look is still very achievable! This is probably the most accurate portrayal of the color in everyday indoor lighting. Not too vibrant, but still gives off a great colour!
In general, these lenses remind me of regular colour contacts, but a little bigger in size (and probably a fraction of the price of prescribed ones!) These lenses are super comfortable, and only had to be rewetted with eyedrops once.
These are definitely my new favourite lenses! I want to try all of the colours now! (*οΎβ½οΎ)οΎ Which ones are your favourite?
Also, you can find the violet lenses here, and the green ones here!
If you use THIS CODE, you’ll get $2USD off your order! (*Β΄βο½*)

Also, the shadows here are really sunken in. Unlike the authentic Urban Decay shadows (which are filled to the top), this palette has ‘sunken in’ shadows which don’t even fill the pan half way. It’s just a thin strip of eyeshadow coating the pan.

So let this be a lesson to those buying makeup products off eBay! Even if the seller has good feedback, it’s better not to risk it and get it off the official site or in store.
Update: After sending the seller this review, they have agreed to refund my money only if I send back the product with its original packaging. Kind of a stupid agreement, since they’re just going to put it back on the market to screw somebody else over.

Hi guys! I’m back with a proper blog post now!
I’m way behind on my product reviews, so I figured that I’d make a big post featuring some recent gets! Work has been booking me in for full time hours, therefore for the past few weeks I’ve been getting some nice pay cheques! I’m forcing myself to save 60% of each pay cheque for my exchange to the UK though.
I bought these sometime between June and July!
At the beginning of the month, I ran out of BB cream! I did quite a bit of researching before buying Lioele Triple the Solution BB cream from Cosmetic Love. I wanted a medium-full coverage bb cream that would feel lightweight on the skin. I decided on this BB cream after watching MissGlamorazzi‘s videos! (She’s one of my favourite makeup gurus on youtube!) She’s also half asian and I think we have similar skin tones – I find her tutorials actually suit my quite well!
This BB cream comes in a tube, but has a handy pump applicator.
It applies wonderfully – super smooth and full coverage can be achieved with just a pea sized amount! It also smells like jasmine and does not irritate my skin.
Here’s a swatch on my wrist. It looks a bit darker, but the skin on my face is a bit darker and works great with my summer skin tone. This will probably be too dark for me in the winter though, so I’ll have to find a paler BB cream!
My skin is light with a yellow (and slightly pink) undertones. I recommend this for those who are interested! It’s a great bb cream.
Also picked up the Skinfood salmon dark circle concealer! This was a bit of an impulse buy because I ran out of my Rimmel concealer and my dark circles were beginning to show through – a result of many late nights reading Fairy Tail. The packaging looks appealing! Very ‘natural’ themed, in a small glass pot.
(I had already used the product before taking the picture, ooooops) It’s a very creamy concealer that hides dark circles very well.
It’s more peach-toned than yellow-toned though. Since the concealer is so creamy, it doesn’t set when applied. In order to set it, I just pat some light powder over the top! Despite the creaminess, it lasts all day and hides circles very well.

Isn’t the color pretty? This is the result of a quick swirl with a mini blush brush on my wrist (without a primer.) I’ve been using this blush on days when I want a light coral glow on my cheeks!
I know it seems like I buy a lot of makeup, but I’m proud at the fact that I actually use them all! I know lots of people just hoard products and set them aside, but I feel like I’ve done a pretty good job at choosing things that I actually use.
Finally, some non-makeup products.

Hello again!
I recently received these lenses from Mukuchu. I’ll be reviewing these lenses today!
As you can probably see in my previous reviews, I’m crazy about grey lenses! I love the way they look on my eyes. I’ve reviewed sparkly grey lenses, striking greys (Sesame Grey), but I’ll be reviewing a different type.
The Cafe Mimi lenses in Waffle Grey are a blue-gray lens that fades out to brown. So far I’m in love with all of the lenses from the Cafe Mimi series! I think the Latte brown lenses are still my favourite though.
Lenses came in their own little box, which was quite cute. Inside the box, there was a slide out tab which contained the lens vials.
Let me know what you think of these lenses! Have you tried any of the Cafe Mimi series? π
Went out and bought myself some cute clothes! I actually bought these a month ago but forgot to blog about these until I was clearing pictures out of a folder.
Hey guys, I’m baaacckkkk~ γ½(Β΄β½ο½)/
Sorry about the absence – the past week was the final tidal wave of projects. It was brutal, I hardly slept. I had a history essay, philosophy essay, French dissertation, French test and multimedia portfolio due. ;_; So much stress! I’m glad it’s over.
This is just going to be a filler blog post for now… I’ve found a new makeup style that I really like, modified version of my past routine but it makes my eyes bigger! (I’ve learned to extend the wing lower, or else I have really Asian shaped eyes.) Also tried a bit more with nose contouring which I’m still trying to get right… I think it was a bit too dark in these photos though lol.
I filmed part of the tutorial today but then both of my memory cards ran out of memory, and then I couldn’t find the cord to download the clips… So I just deleted them and took a bunch of pictures. Naturally I found the cord after lol, so I’ll finish filming it tomorrow! (γ£Β΄Ο`c)
Here are some pictures~
…Man I wish I could wear my cosplay makeup every day, it’s too much effort though!
Will start filming vlogs and posting here regularly, so please be stay tuned~
Also, new favourite song! I want to do her makeup as well!
Got my Vampire Knight cosplay from miccostumes.com, who I am currently in a partnership with! Can’t wait to start making more videos / take pictures in this. I’m cosplaying Yuki Cross from the series Vampire Knight. I have longer hair in these pictures because I wanted to mimic her hair from Vampire Knight Guilty.
These are just some speedy iPhone pictures. Hopefully I’ll be able to take better pictures soon! It’s actually quite funny because I wore my Meiko wig on top with my real hair poking through! The colors are actually quite close, which it blends so well. I don’t think bangs would work with my actual hair because I have very defined eyebrows that don’t look good under the bangs… I’d have to dye my eyebrows lighter?
Also, if you use the code sachie on miccostumes.com, you can get -10% off your order!

Oh, and an update on the rent. Well, it worked out (for now)! We had to make a deal though because S was having financial troubles, so the land lady said she could rent for only 8 months instead of 12 like the rest of us. It’s good that we have the place now but it kinda sucks that we have to pay 4 months more rent than her… We’re trying to find people to sublease it to over the summer. We’re signing the official lease on Monday.
I swear if anybody else drops out or suddenly decides they don’t want to rent anymore, I will go into insane version Sachie.
Hopefully everything works out.
My package from SASA.com arrived last week! Super excited for it because 1) It was my first time ordering from SASA and 2) I ordered some really nice things.
Let’s take a look at my ‘haul’. SASA had a few things on sale, plus the free shipping on orders over $29. Only ordered 4 items though lol. Shipping took about two weeks to arrive at my place.
My first thought was “what a huge box!” Why did I even get a box this big for some liner, mascara, and two bath salts? Such wasteful packaging.
It was also filled to the brim with packing peanuts! Why SASA, whyyyy? The flew out everywhere when I tried opening it.

Finally, Bison 7 Spices Bath Salts (couldn’t find the link, I think it’s out of stock now.) As you all should know by now, I love my bath salts. Can’t wait to try this one out!

On another note, I’d really like to ask you guys for a favour!
I recently entered my university’s digital arts contest. Basically, top 5 submissions with the most votes are presented to a panel of judges, who then choose the winners. I would really really love it if you could vote for me ;_;
The voting process only takes like 2 minutes! β₯
1. Register for a WordPress Account by clicking here.
2. Go to your email and get your password/login link.
3. Close that page and go to this link:
4. Click on the ‘Votes’ button for the icon with the yellow face /red nose/brown eyes!
Thank you so much ;_; This contest is really important to me. (You can forget about the account after voting, WordPress won’t send you any annoying emails)

(Making use of my ring light haha~)It has a ‘sparkly’ grey design! Coverage is great. Doesn’t really blend too well with brown eyes, but would work amazingly with blue or green eyes!
The color comes out as a lice light grey, really makes the eyes stand out! I recommend these for cosplay as well, as they turn out quite nicely in photos. These can also work for daily wear!
————
Now, onto the Pop C Dark lenses in blue!
These lenses are great, so different from all the blue lenses I’ve tried. The coverage is solid, and the designs/colors are beautiful! The only thing I don’t really like about these lenses is how big the outer black ring is, but the gorgeous blues make up for that.
I’d definitely recommend these for cosplay, since the color is so pretty in photos. These look very unnatural for daily wear though.

A review for this was actually requested a while back… was just waiting for my new powder to arrive. (My last one decided to do a suicide jump from my bag = shattered powder all over the side walk. Fortunately it was almost finished. Wrote this post up a while ago and then forgot about it…orz
Well, here you go!
Kiss Me Heroine has become one of my favourite Japanese cosmetic brands. They have great products and adorable packaging! I love the retro anime designs. I’ve been using this powder I think for… 2 years? Probably one of the best that I’ve ever used! (Next to the Lioele one~)
I really like this powder because it actually matches my skin color very well! I have like… light nude colored skin that has yellow undertones. I find that other powders are usually too white or too yellow. This one is a perfect combo.
After one light swipe. This powder can be used as a powder foundation because it has such great coverage! For those days where you don’t feel like putting on bb cream or foundation, this will work well to tone down redness and cover up flaws.
I really love this powder <3
Oh man, I feel like all I ever post now are reviews.
I do like writing reviews though, as well as reading them! I think that it’s helpful to people who are looking to buy the product but want more personal information as opposed to just the product info on the website.
I recently bought Cure Natural Aqua Exfoliating Gel. I’ve read numerous blog reviews that raaave about this product, so I really wanted to try it out. It promises to remove dead skin cells form your face but in a super gentle manner that won’t hurt your skin like other exfoliating scrubs. This isn’t a scrub though, it’s a gel! And it’s super gentle.
It’s made with natural ingredients and is like 90% water!
I bought it from this eBay Seller.
The package came packed super nicely! Lots of bubble wrap to make sure the bottle arrived safely. It also came with a pack of moisturising bath powder! I love my bath powders and salts. (*Β΄θΈ`*)

Etude House Follow Me Tint: Follow 2NE1 lip sytles with edgy & unpredictable color! This cool, mint glossy tint stick goes on clear but changes from pale pink to intense fuchsia and every shade in between, according to your passion.
The lip tint itself is orange which raises a few eyebrows, but it changes to a peachy pink when applied to the lips. Petit Poppy’s review explains it better with swatches.
This is the colour directly applied to the lips. (sorry for the dry lips orz). There are some streaks or orange, but they fade into a peach pink after oxidizing (= after 30 seconds to a minute.)
I love this tint! It’s creamy and layers nicely, unlike my Tony Moly lip tint which is dry on the lips and builds intensity super quickly.
I recently did a cosmetics haul on SASA and eBay, waiting for my stuff to arrive! I’ll review the products when they arrive. ( β’ ΜΟβ’Μ )
On another note, I’m thinking of changing my blog layout. I’ve had this one since September I think… I might switch to a spring theme? :3
So I recently got an email from a reader asking me about the makeup that I use for cosplay! I tend to wear more makeup when I cosplay as to conceal all of my blemishes or minor flaws. Since I like to have nice pictures taken when I am cosplaying, it helps to reduce the amount of editing I have to do. (γ£γ»Πγ»`)γ£
I also figured this would be a good way to get back into blogging about cosplay. I think I’ll start working on Rorona at the end of February during reading week since I don’t have midterm exams.
Also, this isn’t my whole makeup collection. This are simply the products which I use for cosplay because they make me look super uguu. α(βΉβ‘βΉα) It might also seem that I caaaake on the makeup. I don’t, it only seems like it because I have so many products!
I only use two or three products for daily wear. I have to work a bit harder because my naked face has some discolouration and I’m super acne-prone. The products I use help to create a seemingly flawless canvas for my face, and help my appearance in convention/cosplay photos!
I take lots of inspiration from gyaru eye makeup and makeup tutorials from magazines like Popteen and random references like the picture below.
The routine + products I use here are ones I use to create my usually “girly/dolly” look for female characters I cosplay.
This isn’t exactly a tutorial although I do explain how I use the products! I’ll do a tutorial later when I post about my new Vampire Knight Yuki cosplay! :]

B R U S H E S
I don’t have many brushes… I don’t wear much make-up on a daily basis so I always hesitate buying new brushes. I’ve been thinking about getting a stippling brush and powder brush. Will probably get a few from the ELF website.
I currently have two big puffy brushes, a medium sized brush, a smaller brush, and an eyebrow brush which I can’t find at the moment. I really need to wash my brushes again ehehe…
Also have a mini and regular sized eyeshadow sponge thing. (swab?)
B B C R E A M
I currently own two BB creams, SKIN79’s Oriental Gold and Triple Functions.
I reviewed them here. I like them more than foundations for various reasons.
1) They suit my skintones better – I could never find foundations that suited my skin well! My skin colours get paler/white in winter and more yellow in the summer.
2) They have properties which are apparently good for your skin.
3) Varying coverage – first layer starts off a bit sheer but they are easily buildable and have nice coverage. Also looks less cakey than foundation.
When I cosplay, I mix the two colours. I find it makes thicker and nicer coverage, but still not as heavy as foundation.
C O N C E A L E R
I tend to use BB cream under my eyes and just layer it a bit to work as a concealer. I usually wear this concealer on the Sundays of conventions after staying up in the early hours of the morning from Saturday night.γ½(*οΎΠ΄οΎ)γ It has okay coverage, gets the job done.
P O W D E R S
I use two different powders. First is Kiss Me Heroine Smooth Cover Powder in 01. This powder matches my skintone but has a slight yellow tone. It sets the BB cream very nicely.
I don’t really like the yellow tone it casts on my face so I go over it with this Lioele Sun Elastic Powder Pact in Nude Beige. It’s more of a white beige. After sweeping it over my face, the white-beige colour tones down the yellow. In photos, my face looks white-beige.
I slightly contour my face with NYC Mosaic Face Powder in Transulent Highlighter Glow. I have a pretty round face so I contour the sides of my face and along my forehead with this light darker beige powder. This helps create the illusion of shadows, making my face look more angular. I dropped my palette though and it shattered so I need to pick up another one.
Finally, I highlight my nose, (lack of) cheekbones, and forehead with Physician’s Formula Mineral Glow Pearls. It shimmers a bit and helps those areas catch some light.
B L U S H
I have two different blushes that I use. (Not together though.)
The one I use most often in cosplay is my Majolica Majorca’s Puff de Cheek in Apricot Macaroon. I use this one often because I play up my eyes as my most striking feature, therefore I don’t want too much colour on my face pulling away from them. The blush is a pinkish apricot color, which offers subtle colour but doesn’t show up in photos too well. It works well with my yellowish skintone.
Second is Naris Up Chou Chou Cheek Powder in Strawberry Pink. This blush is suuuuper bright and buildable. You only need to pat it on twice with the puff to get super intense colour. I don’t use this blush too often, only when I want my cheeks to stand out…. I usually make Ringo wear it lol. (^ηΏ^) I find it suits her white skin tone better than my yellow skin tone.
E Y E S H A D O W
I really don’t wear much eyeshadow at all. I mainly use a shimmery nude eyeshadow ( which I can’t find, I’ll update this when I find it) because it matches my eyelid colour and has a nice shimmer.
If/when I apply colour, it’s usually brown. I use Lioele Dollish Triple Eyeshadow in Bronze Brown. Sometimes I go over it with my Make Up Forever Copper eyeliner and blend it into the eyeshadow.
E Y E L I N E R S
I currently found this new eyeliner which I love! It’s the jey black eyeliner from Maybelline’s Lash Stiletto line. This eyeliner has a felt-tip applicator and draws very precise lines. It doesn’t smudge either. I know some girls don’t apply much / lighter colour eyeliner, but I feel that black eyeliner helps to make your eyes stand out. Especially in photos.
I recently bought Dolly Wink eyeliner in black. I’ll see how that works out, so I might combine it with my current eyeliner.
I also use Sana Eye Shadow Liner in black. It’s black eyeshadow but has a spongy tip applicator which is great for applying under the eyes.
M A S C A R A
I have two main mascaras I use.
First I apply Rimmel’s Lash Flirt as I find it works really well to create length. I really crave dolly length eyelashes because my eyelashes are quite thin and short.
Next I use Maybelline’s Falsies mascara. This mascara is great for lower lashes and creating volumes! Really fattens and lengthens lashes.
F A L S E E Y E L A S H E S
These are a must for cosplay! They really make you eyes stand out and give you a girlier look, if that’s what you’re going for. I’m not too particular on brands – recently I’ve been using these Bare Essentials lashes that I got…from the dollar store! These are quite natural designs. I’ve been meaning to try out some ‘dolly’ style lashes, like from Dolly Wink, Eyemazing, Diamond Lash…etc. Maybe one day
Finally….
C I R C L E L E N S E S
These are an absolute must for me when I cosplay! It comes to the point where I feel uncomfortable if I don’t have them in lol, I crave alien dolly eyes. (ΰΉγΪ‘βΰΉ)
Not only do they give me huge animu eyes, they also allow me to change my eye colour to match the character I am cosplaying.
————————————————————
SoooOOoooo, that’s it for now! These are the tools and products that I use when I do my cosplay makeup! I really wish I could put this much effort into my everyday look but it’s too much work for me because I’m a lazy bum. β(Β΄Π΄ο½)β I normally just put on BB cream, powder, the shimmery-sheer eyeshadow and occasionally copper eyeliner.
I’ll be sure to do a tutorial on how I do my cosplay makeup later on, with an accompanying video!
I recommend all of these products (except for the concealer, it does an okay job but nothing amazing.)
If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment!
(Scheduled post – this was supposed to go up after exams but I forgot orz—)
Hello darlings! I’m finally done with my exams this semester! I hate how my exams spanned from the 8th until the 20…super dumb! My last exam was French… All I really got from this week was an excessive amount of cramming and stressing out!
(stress acne sob;;;)
Today I’ll be bringing you a review of the famous Princess Mimi (AKA Bambi) circle lenses! I got these from the popular circle lens shop Pinky Paradise.
I was really keen to get a pair of new grey lenses because my old EOS Pure Grey lenses had expired… and they were also only 14.0 mm lenses. (I’m addicted to the larger sizes, as they give a more dolly look! ) I needed a new pair of grey lenses for my Akiyama Mio cosplay for DTAC, and luckily these arrived in time.
I think it took around two weeks to arrive from Malaysia to Canada? Very quick because all of their lenses are instocks, so you don’t have to wait a super long time for orders to arrive. Communication was great and I got very fast replies when I had questions!)
Pinky Paradise also has a super huge range of lenses! They have more than 600 designs! They also sell lots of popular Asian makeup products such as BB Creams, false eyelashes, and facial masks! They basically have everything you’d need for beauty products!

These are some pictures of the lenses worn with regular simple makeup. (liquid eyeliner, mascara) They grey look really makes my eyes stand out! And it shows up really well on brown eyes. Theses lenses definitely live up to their hype! I tried using black eyebrow pencil but it made my eyebrows look kinda gray lol… maybe I should try brown eyebrow mascara or something? D: Let me know if you have any recommendations! I heard that dollywink’s is pretty good…?

Hello darlings! I’m here with another circle lens review for you! γ½(=^ο½₯Οο½₯^=)δΈΏ
Today I’ll be reviewing GEO WT-A04 brown lenses. These lenses are from Mukuchu!
You can get WT-A04 lenses from Mukuchu.com! Or you can click here! WT-A04 lenses are sold for $20/pair, or buy 3 pairs of GEO lenses, get one pair free!
Thank you for reading~ β(οΌΎ0οΌΎ)β
PROBABLY ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I HAVE INVESTED IN SO FAR. Generally used BB cream instead of concealer but found that it didn’t go on thick without looking cakey. Bought some Rimmel Match Perfection concealer in classic beige to hide the dark circles that have taken up residence under my eyes.
It blends really well and lasts all day! I love it so far! The applicator is brush tip and the formula goes from liquid into a silky-moussey type liquid when applied.
Hello everyone!
I know I seem to be a bit slow on posts lately, please forgive me! I know somebody asked me to write a post on university life here so I’ll try to have that up as soon as possible. For now, I’ll try to do some shorter update posts or review posts!
Today I’ll be reviewing two products – a pair of circle lenses and some mascara!
I got a pair of grey lenses from uniqso.com! Specifically, the ‘Dolly Eye BarbieDoll Grey lenses‘.
They sell for $17.90 USD which is pretty cheap for lenses! Uniqso sells different lens brands that aren’t as well know, but there are still some super awesome designs!

Here is what the lenses looked like in the case. The arrived in a small cute box and the vials were wrapped in bubble wrap!
The lenses themselves are 14mm and have a water content of 42%! These lenses did not dry out after 6 hours of wear! They feature a tornado/swirly design.
This is what the lenses look like on my eyes! The lenses don’t blend very well into my natural eye colour because they are brown, but I still think they look quite nice!
Hello darlings!
Sorry for the long gap between updates! University life has been pretty busy so far… so many classes and readings and assignments to do sob. γ½(;Β΄Πο½)γ I originally made this blog to be a cosplay blog but since school has started I haven’t had the chance to work on any projects! Depressing! I’ll try to blog more about my daily life though even though there’s not much to blog about…(γ»_γ»;)
Anyway, my parents came to visit me today! My dad brought my circle lenses and headphones that I ordered over!
I bought 14.2mm Hyper Brown lenses from TheDollyEye as they are having a promotion! Some lenses are $15, free shipping! This is a pretty great price for lenses since shipping is free! (/ΟοΌΌ)
Here’s a mini review! I’ll try updating this later with a proper review once I can use my dad’s camera which has the awesome macro settings.
They have a very simple design, which was what I was looking for. I wanted these lenses as a regular type that I could wear to class or just on that extra day I wanted dolly eyes without being too attention-drawing. They aren’t big either, they just have some slight enlargement which was what I wanted! οΎ(οΎβοΎ*)οΎ
I like how well they blend in with my natural eye colour! My natural eye colour is a weird brown/orange colour with gray along the rims, and this colour is a brown/chestnut colour. I think they go well together!
( Β΄θΈο½)
I wish my bottom lashes were longer though. I don’t wear mascara that often at school because I always seem to wake up with panda eyes. (I take it all off as well, I don’t understand ;_;)
These lenses are pretty comfortable as well, wore them for a few hours today and they didn’t feel drying at all.
The only issue I had with this store is that the packaging was pretty crap, the lenses were wrapped in random newspaper and it didn’t come with a lens case. ((οΎmοΎ;) Luckily I had an extra~! Took two weeks to arrive after ordering.
Next, headphones!
Ordered a pair of WESC Chocolate Oboe headphones off eBay! I love them! (βΒ΄Οο½β)γ The sound is really good in my opinion. Wanted colourful ones but then was having a hard time thinking of ways to match them to my clothes. Didn’t like the plain black or white ones, so settled for Chocolate brown! The brown + gold is a nice combo imo~ Haha so many brown things ordered!
Was playing around with fimo slices that I also ordered off eBay. I love these fruity ones! They came pre-sliced so I just stuck them on with some clear polish. Took this pic a right after I painted them, that’s why they look a bit messy~ (οΎοΎβΏοΎ)οΎ
Some pretty sunsets from this week! It’s been quite gray and rainy outside though, at least the sunsets were pretty. My dorm has a pretty good view I think. (οΎΒ΄β½ο½)οΎ
Also first university paper is due this week! It’s for cultural studies. I’m actually quite nervous as it’s my first university paper… Even though it’s only 500 words I’m coming across some trouble! οΌ Β΄(γ§)ο½οΌ It’s an analysis paper, and I find myself wanting to write more than the limit. I tried writing as much as I needed first and then trying to cut it down after when revising, but I don’t feel as though I’m conveying what I want to say as well as I could… It’s due on Monday, so I’m going to go over it once more tomorrow and try fixing it up. Hopefully it’s good enough… (Β΄β‘ο½ο½‘)
University is stressful! ):
BLUE CIRCLE LENSES FOR YOU~!~! ( Β΄θΈο½)
Got this beautiful pair of lenses from Mukuchu (at the beginning of July… sorry for the long wait! ;_;)
My old pair of animation blue lenses expired so I was ready for a new pair of lenses, but less ‘fake’ looking that the animation series. β§(Β΄β½ο½)β¦
The lenses are 14.5 mm. I think this is a pretty good size for lenses if you want them to slightly enlarge your eyes without making them look alien, but still have a pretty colour!
The colour itself is a bright sapphire blue that fades to a hazel – gold brown in the middle. The rims are a fuzzy black-brown which doesn’t make the eyes stand out as much as lenses that have a solid outer ring. γ½(οΎβοΎ )οΎ

HELLO.
I’ll be writing a series of scheduled posts for you for the upcoming week because I’ll be super busy finishing up my cosplay stuff! So much left to do before Fan Expo…. but I have a feeling it’s going to be a very very fun convention! γΎ(οΌ ^β½^οΌ )οΎ
Recently got some new cosmetics in the mail that I ordered from eBay!
Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek in Peach (about $19.50, shipping to Canada included.)

I saw Jenny raving about this on her blog! I was curious about it so I decided to order it myself!
It’s funny, I won’t spend lots of money on western makeup brands but shell out my dollars for pretty Asian cosmetic brands…. orz
I never really used my Naris Chou Chou pink blush because it’s too bright for my tastes, only use it for cosplay, so I’ve been on the lookout for a “wearable” blush. (qγ»Ξ΅γ»ο½‘) Peach seemed to be a pretty subtle shade but can still give a nice colour, so I ordered it!

Super satisfied with this purchase! The peach blends in really well with my skin and gives me cheeks a ‘healthy’ peachy blush. I don’t really mind spending extra on a blush that looks nice!
Next, TonyMoly Mini Lip Tint in Cherry Pink – $4.37 (shipping included)
This is actually quite expensive for a little bottle of lip tint… the bottle is so small! Probably the size of a loonie haha… I was interested in trying out some TonyMoly products after my friend got some! She was raving about them so naturally I was super curious and had to get some myself. οΌοΏ£β½οΏ£οΌ=οΌ

I really wish I could blog more often but my life isn’t very eventful! (qγ»Ξ΅γ»ο½‘)
I’ll be uploading another vlog soon to the moetronCOS youtube channel which features our expedition to Home Depot, getting insulation foam! Please sub to us if you’re interested in our little adventures! (Β°βΒ°)b
I’ll leave you with this βββ picture of Ringo (who just got a blog, check it out!) and Sami! It was our first time buying/working with insulation foam for Sami’s giant STRength arms. Here’s a mini model I made! ββ
(We’re the biggest hardware store noobs ever…also probably the only females in the store haha! γ½(οΎβοΎ )οΎ) The guy who was cutting our foam into smaller pieces started flirting with Sami! So funny haha, his pick-up line was “So, I’ve seen your dad around here quite a few times π “. We all assumed he was one of her friends, but she told us later that she didn’t know who she was and her dad never really goes to that Home Depot! xD
My maid cosplay arrived in the mail. :*:γ»(οΏ£βοΏ£)γ»:*: I actually bought this as a test for when my cosplay group does K-On maid version… unfortunately the dress was a bit short and tight across the shoulders. I could’ve altered it but the material wasn’t the best either… ( γβγ) Therefore I gave it to Ringo because she paid for my Fan Expo ticket as a birthday present! I’ll have to find another maid cosplay that will actually fit me! Too lazy to make my own haha. (Β΄οΌΏο½ο½‘)
A few things I picked up when I went to Buffalo USA to do some shopping! βββ

Forever21 JAPAN tank! I love it, so comfy. Bought another one that had a cat on the front.
More pictures under the cut!
Super comfy moccasins from a store called Papaya.
Fabulous gold shoes from Macy’s! Only $13 hehehe!
3/4 sleeve jacket from F21…. I bought more clothes, just haven’t taken pictures of them yet. They’ll go up on my Poupee eventually… (οΎΟο½₯ο½€)
Makeup case! Bought it in Target for $17, found the same case in a Walmart here for only $14! ( p_q) Oh well.
I’ve actually added in a few more things after taking this picture, mostly brushes and stuff.
If anybody’s interested in a what’s in your makeup bag post, let me know! I’ll take pictures of the cosmetis I have so far.
Bought this straightener in Buffalo because it was cheap haha… Was too distracted by the cute product design and didn’t notice it only had one heat setting (high), sob. Need to get that heat protecting spray now! (Β΄β‘ο½ο½‘)
Cute Betsey Johnson ring I ordered online! Also came with a necklace and a pair of earrings! (All octopus designs haha… Might just give some away in a giveaway?) (γβγ)
Now for some cosplay progress pics! γΎ(οΌ ^β½^οΌ )οΎ
Ringo slept over for two nights when we went to work on Sami’s STRength arms! She brought her cannon over so we could give it a makeover in time for Fan Expo. The spray paint had rubbed off since Anime North so we decided to cover it in Gesso so the stray paint would stay on. We should’ve used black gesso but whatever. οΎ(οΎβοΎ*)οΎ
My garage – waiting for the gesso on cannon-chan to dry.
First coat of spray paint. Using black semi-gloss spray paint so the cannon would look shiny!
Handle and barrel painted, waiting for it to dry. Also, the orange isn’t paint! It’s just the reflection of the garage light on the wet paint! (;^Ο^A
And it’s done! Yay! You can also see my new 2.0 Black Gold Saw boots in the background, drying from the paint job.
Also making improved BGS horns! Much lighter than the last ones. Since this picture was taken, they’ve been gesso’d and painted, just need to attach to a hairband now.
Annnnnd almost done making Meiko dress, Synchronicity version.
…might have made the slit on the side a little too high. (;^Ο^A
Anyway, it should be done soon, and I’ll upload a full body pic when it’s done. I won’t have the sword for Fan Expo, maybe for next Anime North. I’m thinking about selling this as well because I don’t have a group / plans to rewear it haha…. (οΎοΎΞΏοΎ)οΎ It was only really a summer project.
Got another circle lenses review planned for soon. Super natural blue lenses, look forward to it! β₯
Hello everybody! γΎ(οΌ Β°β½Β°οΌ )οΎ
I’m here with a review post~ I’ll be reviewing two items!
The first is from liliesshop.net. This is the BB cream I mentioned in this post! Please check it out if you haven’t already~! All the store details are in that post!
So, here’s the third item that arrived in the package! Lioele Dollish Veil Vita BB Cream in Green!

You’re probably thinking…Green? Haha I was like that at first! The BB cream comes out of the bottle as a white cream with a green tint. When you rub it on your face, the colour fades to a natural beige! The green colour is supposed to help conceal redness. (Β°βΒ°)b My face tends to have red spots so I was really enthusiastic to try this out.
This was before I put falsies on haha… they really do make such a big difference! γΎ(οΌ ^β½^οΌ )οΎ
The BB cream has a sweet but light floral scent, similar to the Lioele powder compact! (the one with the princessy-pink case). It’s quite nice! (Β΄0οΎο½*) The cream itself has a light-medium coverage consistency, so you can wear it without feeling like its too heavy on your face. It’s goes on a bit shiny, so it works best if you set it with powder! This cream is specifically for oily-combination type skin. This is a wonderful BB cream, definitely recommend it! ΠΎ(ΠΆοΌβ½οΌ)ο½ β
Here’s the link for those who are interested, it sells for $22 on liliesshop.net, which is a little cheaper than what you’d pay for most Skin79 BB Creams.

Here’s the look I created~! I tried basing my look on a tutorial in an old issue of popteen… γ½(οΎβοΎ )οΎ Lioele products have most definitely won me over! So I highly recommend it for people who want cosmetic products that work well, smell nice, and have beautiful packaging!
Didn’t use bottom lashes because they looked really weird on me. Also wearing the wig for my Meiko cosplay! I really love how I look with this short hair, but it saddens me that if I cut my hair short it wouldn’t look like this. My bangs frame my face instead of growing forward and swooping across… γ(Β΄Π΄ο½lll)

Super picture spam under the cut!
I’m actually really proud of how I did my makeup today haha! This is most likely how I’ll do my makeup for my Meiko cosplay~! So if anybody happens to be going to Fan Expo this year, look out for me! (and compliment me on my makeup skills ohohoh /shot (οΎΟο½₯ο½€) )
My cat is going through this weird phase where she likes to chew on the end of her tail… Must be a kitten think? It’s weird, she sat on top of me and made me hold her tail so she could lick it. (*οΌΎγΌοΌΎ)γ

(in case you’re wondering, no I did not cut my hair! This is progress for my Meiko wig, which you’ll see at the end of the post. (Β°βΒ°)b )
So guess what arrived in the mail the other day? My stuff from liliesshop.net! Super excited to receive these products because they looked really good on the website!
I’ll be reviewing two of the things I received today!
{ { Before I start, liliesshop.net is an online cosmetics shop based in BC, Canada. Shipping took about a week and a half because of the postal strike to arrive in Toronto, and the items were sent through expedited mail with a tracking number. Items arrived in a bubblewrap padded envelope! } }
First thing I will be reviewing is this base powder~ Lioele Sun Elastic Powder Pact #21 – Nude Beige.
Product description:

More pictures + review under the cut!
Next product, the Lioele Dollish Triple Eyeshadow #8 – Bronze Brown

Hello darlings~
Is it hot where you are? Right now it’s about 40Β°C (100Β°F) in Toronto right now…sweltering hot! (qοΌ0οΌο½‘) Worst part is that we don’t have any air conditioning – it broke last year and my dad is too cheap to get it fixed….orz

Hello darlings~
I’ve been meaning to post these reviews for a while now, but the hot summer weather got the best of me and make me procrastinate too much! (qγ»Ξ΅γ»ο½‘)
The two BB creams that I will be reviewing are:
– Skin79 Oriental Gold BB Cream
– Skin79 Super BB Cream + Triple Functions
For those of you who don’t know what BB cream is:
“It is said that the formula comes from Germany where dermatologists prescribe it to heal laser skin surgery because it has soothing and skin-regenerating properties. Famous South Korean actresses then began using it for beauty purposes and since Asian dramas are huge all over, a craze was born. The trend that started in Korea first spread to Japan then to South East Asia and is now quickly making its way to Europe and the USA.” – Squidoo
Basically, it’s a type of base makeup that is lighter than foundation, but also has magic in it that makes your skin ‘better’.
After I started using it, I decided that I love BB cream! (-^β‘^-) The makeup at the drug store never really suited my skin colour – it was either too pale or two orange! BB cream shades suit my skin very well.
The first is Skin79’s Oriental Gold BB Cream. I bought it from this ebay seller, who sells genuine products. Watch out when you buy BB cream online because there are lots of fakes! So it’s best to buy from a trusted seller like Bellogirl.
I’ve heard mixed reviews about this BB cream, but I love it! It’s a bit of a heavier BB cream – great coverage and layerable if you have red spots. (Β°βΒ°)b No need to use too much though because it can get cakey pretty fast. It gives you a dewy look, which isn’t always what people want. Coverage lasts for a pretty good time – it looks great for about 3-4 hours, after that you might have to touch up with some powder.
Also comes with a lip/cheek tint, which I don’t use. The colour is a bit bright on my lips/cheeks, but it’s great for people who like the bright look I guess! Not really my thing haha. (οΎΟο½₯ο½€)
Second BB Cream is Skin79’s Super BB Cream + Triple Function. It’s supposed to offer the effects of whitening, wrinkle improvement, and ultraviolet rays interception. I bought this in an Asian beauty store in Quebec, but you can easily find this online. Again, make sure the seller is legit. (γ»γ» οΌ)
This is a comparison of the different pumps! Oriental Gold has a pump that makes the cream come up from the centre. It’s good for if you put too much pressure on a too much cream comes out, you can easily just smear bits onto your face a bit at a time. However it’s less sanitary – you need to make sure you constantly clean the top.
Super BB cream has an opening that opens off to the side. More sanitary, but if you push too hard and get too much cream, you’re awkwardly stuck there with too much cream on your finger LOL.
I actually like Oriental Gold’s pump more, probably because I’m more used to it haha.
Here’s the comparison on my wrist! These BB cream shades suit my skin so much more than regular foundation!
They both also blend perfectly! γ½(*’0’*)οΎ
Overall, I love BB Cream. It’s light and covers well, and it doesn’t feel too cakey or heavy on my face!
If you have any questions, leave them in the comment box and I’ll try to answer them to the best of my ability π
Hi everyone!
I love how I’m able to blog more often now!
I bought a pair of circle lenses from β( ο½₯βο½₯) 彑βPANDAβ γCircle Lensesγ
I’ve bought quite a few pairs from this place! It’s a facebook group shop that sells very affordable circle lenses.
They owner is closing down the shop though because I think she’s going to university next year, so she won’t have time to sell lenses. All lenses are super cheap! Currently, all GEO and EOS lenses are just $11/pair! If you’ve bought lenses before, you’ll know that this is super affordable as most sites usually sell lenses for $20+! I’m not being sponsored to say this or anything, I just want to help out those who may be tight on cash and want to try out some cute lenses! This even includes the new BAMBI lenses!
Also great for people who live in the GTA/Mississauga as you are able to do facetrades to pick up your lenses.
For those of you who don’t know what circle lenses are, they’re a type of cosmetic colour contact lens that are supposed to make your eyes look bigger. They’re very popular in China/Japan/Korea, and they are often used in gyaru fashions as well as cosplay! I mostly use mine for cosplay purposes.
Anyway, I ordered (another) pair of GEO Nudy Violet.
I had a pair of these last year, which I thought I forgot at my Anime North hotel room! Turns out that I just left them in my suitcase and discovered them while packing for Anime North this year haha…. Anyway I ordered another pair because they’re awesome.
They’re probably my second favourite lenses! (My favourites are my EOS Pure Gray lenses, which I wear for my Akiyama Mio cosplays!)
If you’ve read my GEO Nudy Green lenses review, you’ll know how much I love the Nudy series!
Nudys give off the “natural” look as they blend in well with your actual eye colour. They give a cute glittery effect.

Hope you enjoyed this review! π
Also, any requests for new types of posts? Like anime reviews, more life blogs, tutorials..etc?
Hello darlings~
(My favourite hostess blog, where I get all my emotes from, posted some really weird ones! So be prepared for some weird emote spam )
I’ll be reviewing a pair of lenses sent to me by iwantcute.com!
They are an shop based in the UK. Shipping was super fast! It took I think 8 days to arrive~ Probably the speediest place I’ve received lenses from.
The package was padded (very important, so the lens bottles don’t break) had a very cute card inside with pictures of Kipi, advertising the store! Very cute!
I also received a lens case~
I chose to review Nudy Green (CH-623). I’ve actually owned these lenses before! The first type of circle lenses that I owned were Nudy Greens, but I didn’t wear them that often because I wasn’t…used to circle lenses? So they ended up drying out and tearing.

Before showing pictures, I should let you know that I love the Nudy series! They are popular for a reason, and that’s because they’re amazing! I find the colour to be noticeable, yet blends really well and doesn’t look fake.
Kipi swears by these lenses, so they are very popular amongst cosplayers. You can achieve a sparkling-eye look without having very bright colors.
The colour coverage is also great!

POWER/PRESCRIPTION: 0.00 (Plano) to -10.00

Design: 8.7/10
I love the spikey design! I wish that the colour was more red though, instead of being a red-brown colour.
Comfort: 9.5/10
These lenses are so confortable! Despite being really big, they didn’t really try my eyes out and I couldn’t feel them when I put them in! EOS definitely makes very comfortable lenses.
Enlargement: 10/10
Wow, these lenses definitely enlarge! Despite being 14.5mm, these lenses made my eyes feel really really big. This is my first time trying 14.5mm lenses, and I couldn’t stop staring in the mirror! It was kind of weird at first, but I got used to it. These eyes definitely help achieve the moe-eyes look! I can only tolerate the big eyes when I have makeup on, or else I look like an alien haha!
All GEO 15mm Lenses are $20 a pair!
All FunkyEyes Lenses are $29 a pair!
Free lenses case with every pair!
Reseller/Wholesale prices for 10 or more pairs!
VIP discount and free lens case not offered for wholesale orders
